i had two rust stones n both were bow guns

i've tried with 32 different ruststones but no luck

You all seem to be farming Ruststones and Ancient Stones one after the other and if it dont turn into a Rusted / Worn weapon you go get more yes?

DONT!. Use my fully explained trick under the Ancient Stones thread and you only need to find One Ancient Stone and One Rust Stone of each weapon type and using my trick it will eventually turn into the Rusted or Worn version of the weapon class it is.

Example you get an Ancient Stone and change it and it is a gun like say Meteor Cannon then use my trick and it might go like this:

Meteor Cannon
Meteor Cannon
Grenade Launcher
Meteor Cannon
Island of the Gods!

You must follow the trick and do a 1 player mission before each change though or it will just be the same as it was the first time you changed that stone.

srry to double post but no one replied i finnally got an sns ruststone but ive tried a bunch using the ancient stone method can neone remember how long it took them about to change it into the rusted sns?

Well actually for ruststones. You do get a rust weapon after about 30 cycles. cycles = polishing a stone or completing a quest.

For ancient stone.. it does seem to be a cycle but I have no idea how many cycles. It appears a bit random although I cannot conclude anything with so few tries. I have gotten a 2nd ancient weapon only after 4 cycles before.

just do a quest inbetween when your about to polish the stone.

just mine from the mining point, basicly if ur under hr 3 then desert 4 star if u are hr 3 (or more) mine in desert or volcano till u get a rust stone, then check if its a sas, if it is, then do the rust stone trick til u get what u want

if you are hr 2 its so easy to get a rustone in atleast one of the many 5* volcanoe spots, also you can get them by killing a laoshan(village elder quest). I got four last time i beat it while trying to get small lao claws
