I have the dragon riders spear. Its much much better. Even before it is the grayburg javalin. In my oppinion the babel spear is not worth going for and neither is the valhalla.

ye i agree with stuff i tried valhalla and was unimpressed

every1 is sayin killed gyp in 23 hits so i can kill it in less dan dat with worse weapons so it cant be dat gd

if babel upgrades to valhalla, then babel sucks. You can skip all that and go right to valhalla, like i did.

actually man all you have to do is do a google search of "MHF weapon tree" and the search result listed at the top hosted by neoseeker will show u every weapon and where it started as in all of MHF1 for psp. all thanks to MHxOgre

but u cant disregard the fact that the valhalla has a tiny bit of blue sharpness. so it could be useful even if u do have better weapons, and if u could just make it from the crafting shop without upgrading into it it could prove to be a very useful weapon for newer players to kill yian garugas.

agree.. i have that weapon too.. i do consider alot the sharpness of blade weapons...

but dragon rider hmm.. yeah it is better.. really depends on the situation...

i have babel sphere.(the ultimate paladin lance.named after the legendary tower. a treasure to behold.) if you upgrade it to valhala its also ok. "but there will be no plus defense," although the good thing about valhala is that its on the blue status. but what i really want is to have a growling wyvern. huhuhuhuhu i wanna have growling wyvern........

the babel spear is made from the knight's lance in this order
1:knight lance
2:knight lance +
3:knight spear
4aladin lance
5aladin lance+
6:rampart
7:babel spear

Dudes the path is this: from paladin lance>rampart>growling wywern>knight spear>knight lance>babel lance

the babel lance requires a lot of G rank materials, but has a lot of green sharpness and needs 8 gold rathians scales+ you know! it hard to get but very precious, 519 attack or so
