Gold rathian and silver los in a 100x100 foot arena. im convinced this is IMPOSSIBLE. i cant do it. i tried everything. i even used a gun, the Wolf Do, and shot the rathian in the chest with '50'! clust lvl 2s and she didnt die. and she aint even the only one. you gotta kill rathalos too! i need help from someones whos actually 'beat' it, not just thinks they know how from seeing what ive said. any suggestions/strategies?

Cluster's? You should probably go with pellets or piercers

Make sure you have your bombs with you too. If your using a gun, make sure your ON A LEDGE. That's like a golden rule for gunners to do when fighting a Wyvern.

have you beat them. are you aware that if you get on the ledge the rathalos will FLY AT YOU and use his claws to knock you out and poison you? you make it sound easier than it is when im quite sure you havent done it.

Nope I havn't done it. But I watched my friend do it. And don't get so angry at me, i'm just giving you tips/suggestions. And do you even know how to DODGE attacks? You shouldn't just sit still the whole time, you may be a gunner, but not a real good one if you havn't mastered the art of dodging in that game.


Also, Maybe you need to stop playing for a bit and cool off. Obviously your anger is just makeing you lose. Cheer up my friend, and have FUN while trying to kill that computer simulated monster.

ive tried for 2 straight weeks. this game is no longer 'fun' its irritating the hell outta me. and yes i dodge everything except the fregin claw attack that is heat seeking. i wish i could fregin block with a gun. but noooo..... lame..

well, maybe you should just try some new quests. It's probably your weapon, do you have "Dragon" elemt on it? Maybe try shooting bullets that corresponds with there weakness. That always works.

gold and silver rath have no weakness but dragon element. i know thats what you said but my gun cant shoot that anyway.

try to put one to sleep and use dung bombs to make the los fly away for a while, he will do like 5 laps around the arena then land, second, use the invulnerable run like a pussy dive, always works, finally, bring a melee wep, gunnin is dam near useless on this quest also there weak point are there wings, no where else. hope this helps.

dung bomb? is that just like.. dung + gunpowder? and what do i do when the other one is asleep and then wakes up because rathalos landed on her head, just do it again i guess hmm... when can i get any damage in in this process?

i believe theyre also weak against thunder, easy to kill em kirin bold ultimus or just bolt mega if you arent in G quests

Hmmmm. Did you try pit falling Rathian and tranqing her. Take on Rathalos alone first. He is tougher but has least hp. Then take on Rathian. I could take more than one tranqing of Rathian.
