I've been hunter rathian in the high end of village quest and 4* giuld quest for her spike, I haven't gotten any so far. So which hr should I start seeing some? I need to upgrade me gradios ^.^

You get it from her tail, thats were I got mine offline.

i've cut off its tail every time i've fought it and i never get spikes, which rathien mission do you get them from? desert, jungle or f&h?

you can get from any put there is like a 2% chance so pet pig do anything to get sum but really just get use to fighting rathian a lot

Tip: play troublesome pair and ' fully de-crown ' her and you'll most likely get a x3 spike reward, don't give up after the third try either.
Also if you want any Rath offline rare 5 or other item then this quest is you're best friend

Was this the giuld or village chief quest? gah i need to spikes!!

The spikes are the hairs on its back near the neck. hit right there a few times something will break off and then when it dies you can carve right there and get some.

the quest i got the spikes from was the quest called "a troublesome pair" which is a 5* village chief quest.

i broke the rathien's spikes off it's wings, it's face and cut off it's tail. and i got 3 spikes as a reward

You nearly always get three or more rathian spikes from troublesome pair so try that.

You can also get Rathian Spikes by giving Lightcrystals to the Forest and Hills hermit in Zone 7. That's how I got my Gradios Ultimus.
