re: Introduce yourself

People.. Stop trying to close this thread. I don't care how old it is. Truth is, even now, people are just buying the game, which means it still has popularity.
You can't just expect everyone to join a game as soon a sit comes out, and forget about another.

So yes, I'll admit. It is dying. Compared to what it used to be. As it was 3rd in the Top PPD Forums in Neo.
But it doesn't mean we should quit straight away.

Or, why don't we all buy MHF2 around the same time, then all of our homies will still be in the same forum, and little people feel left out:D! It'll be a fresh start ( just a diff forum...)my apologies to those who are in finacial aid...

Sah Kuh, some people might not like the MHF2 Forum. It's hard to get used to it becoming so popular when it's this quiet.

re: Introduce yourself

Welcome to the forum, and I'm guessing a thunderslug is a slug that shoots thunder? Oh well, if not I can do without a cookie since I already have some downstairs. Anyway the whole point of MHF2 being made is for those who've beaten MHF and have said, "Ok, now what do I do?" So in terms of a sequel with more content, it's for those who want to move on to the next generation. MHF2 is indeed better than MHF because of slightly better graphics, assloads of new armour and weapons, and plenty of bigger and badder monsters for you to slay.

However you can never forget your roots either, which is what we here do for MHF. Remember the "Spyro The Dragon" game series? The first three games for the Playstation One system were amazing. It had a good soundtrack, lovable characters, challenging side quests, and above all you could play as a friggin' dragon. Once it got onto the PS2 however, it slowly fell back into it's grave, nailing it's own coffin. Such a sad end to a great series. However that probably will never happen with the MH series.

But enough of my rambling, welcome to the forums and be sure to check the Thread Index for all your hunting questionare. If you can't find it there then feel free to consult us "Hunting Sages" for the knowledge you seek.

re: Introduce yourself

seriously, they don't rerelease a game to make it worse, so a if anything, buy MHF2 to keep up with both the forum and times. And what would not be bad about the MHF2 forum that WE could change. It takes more than one person to start and run a forum.

re: Introduce yourself

Well I doubt we as people and gamers, would change in any severe way. Sure we may post different topics, and have different things to chat about, but overall it's just the same people on another forum. Add to that it's a sequel and we'll still be our hunter selves instead of if we were to move to an entirely different game series. I'll of course be holding a PSP and MHF2 in my hands on Christmas morning and then I'll be moving on to the MHF2 forums, but I'll still have the same attitude and personality, I'll just be having alot more posts and fun is all.
