This game's getting horrendous reviews, don't waste your money. Ign just gave it a 4.0 and GameSpot a 5.5.

I got it for the same reason I got King Kong ... fast 1000 achievement points (there's only 14 of them)!!!

Play through on easy (all 6 chapters, oooh!) and on the final chapter find a quiet spot (easy in this game) and wait 10 hours, then finish the game and you've just gotten 8 achievements totalling 339 points!!!

i knew this game looked stupid. its trying to rip off Devil May Cry and Bloodrayne.

and it has the stupidest achievements ever.
"All stages were beat in some difficulty mode." you get 140 pts for this one, simply for beating the game in any difficulty, after you get an achievement for beating it in a certain difficulty like easy, hard, etc.

i think they ran out of ideas on this one. this looks like another rental only game just for the sake of getting points.

I figured I'd double post since there's only three (3) people posting on this game; even worse about this game ...

Set the game to Normal, beat the game in the shortest amount of time, do not die more than twice, and you'll get a rank "S" and 250 points to spend on your character!!! Now, quit and save where you're at ... now start all over using your current game save ... thus maxing out your character to the fullest and getting 150 points for doing so! This game is so stupid, espesially if you can max your character out to play Hard, Extreme, and WTF is up w/ getting 1 point for completeing Hell Mode???

I keep wanting to kick the gamestop employees butt for saying, " Buy this game, it rocks!!!" And turn around and kick myself for listening to him ... it's not worth the $49.97 I paid for it ... more like $19.97!!!

To be honest the game wasnt that bad. My only complaint with the game is that it was too short and kinda easy if you know how to play it right. I like the spells you can do but it can get annoying if you try to use lightning on a tank and miss then have to fill your mp gauge back up otherwise its a pretty good game if you can look past those problems. The whole thing about the Hell mode 1 point acheivement isnt the fact that you get 1 point for beating hell mode but the fact that you can go up to a friend or someone and say "Hey, I beat Bullet Witch on the hardest mode what have you done in your life? Bragging rights man

the 1 point thing is probably to mess with o.c.d. people like myself. it would bug me to hell to have my score end in 4 or 9 or sometihng wierd. so i'd have to play it again to even it out.

I liked Bullet Witch. I thought it played well, but then again it's the first of many 360 titles I have seen. Plus I like seeing a strong, independant female heroine who isn't whining about something lame like the stereotypical female lead. Yea it got annoying seeing the same soldiers and monsters, and I would have liked a better MP method, but the challenge was moderate eventhough fairly simple on normal mode, and the game was over so fast. It's one of those games you see great promise, and they just fall short on one or two things that could have made it big.

Me personally, I don't give a crap about points earned. ^^; My thing is playing the game to play the game...not to earn points. Granted I was amused with this system in the 360 as well (This is both Angel's first time on a 360 and her first 360 game aside from DOA4 and Dead Rising on her friends 360).

But yea. The big pitfalls:

- Fast Story. It goes by so fast, but it's so simple it's a perfect concept. Would have been cool to see it played out more, but then again simpler is often a touch better.
- MP System. It kind of sucked when you obliterated everyone around the tank and can't kill them to re-up your gauge.
- NOW WHY DID THE VOICE WARN HER ABOUT THE HELICOPTER! That's what I wanna know damnit...

My Up's:

- Great Characters. Well Alicia mainly. I think the others didn't get much depth to help make them impressionable.
- Big Spells + Destructable Enivorment = Boom. This Angel loves alot.
- It was nicely paced for a quick game, and it felt smooth and quick. Game play even felt fluid. It's hard to find a game with a quick play time that doesn't make an understandable plot line. I always realized the faster the gamevthe less you know about the who, what and where.
- Fluid. Fast. At least in my opinion it felt that way.


And, btw, PLAY gave it a 8.5 out of 10. So not all of it's reviews were bad. One other thing gave it a high review too.

Agreed. Everything Angel said was exactly what I was thinking. They could have done a bit more with the story such as a bit more info on Maxwell Cougar or(i call him maxie)or just anyone in general. Maybe Alicia's dad or something and they could have made the human soliders a bit more useful. I swear everytime I turned around I had to save their ass from something, but thats why we have a Lv.3 machingun now is it

This game was okay but i would of prefered it to be more longer and have more things to do.

Is it very easy?

I really like this game because ive seen the screenshots and videos and my sister like it so much that she made me promise her that i will buy it but i live in peshawar and i dont know where to find it. if anyone knows where to find it in peshawar please tell me within six months because after six months i am going to dubai to settle there
