Hey im stuck on this mission, its where you have to find something that he cardassians are looking for in this system with 9 planets and you cant get detected by the cardassians or they will send a swarm of ships that will even kill a soverign class ship. Anyone get past this?

I got some progress.. Alioth 6 is the planet the device is located on. Now if i can get by those satelittes and data gets down to the surface before the cardassians get me i should be ok. Mebbe if i destroy the sats first.. i dunno.. try that

To beat this mission, you should go to Altioth 6. Once there tell the helm to go to standard orbit. Once you get too close to the Satellites the ship will be placed in All stop mode. From this point there are several different ways to do this. The way I found that was the easiest was to press space bar to get the exterior view. Then access the Tactical view by pressing F2 (default). Once there cycle throught the contacts until both of them are about 130 km away. Tell the helm to orbit the planet. OR press 9 for full impulse once you are within 30-40 km of the planet tell the helm a final time to enter standard orbit. It will go to a cut scene. Listen to the dialogue during which Commander Data asks you to destroy the Satellites. Concentrate all fire on those satellites and shake off the Cardassian attack. Once complete return to Starbase 12.
