 Topic: Game crashes after "New game" selection

I've just installed PotC on my notebook and the problem appears: when I get to the main menu and select "New game", the game starts loading, but after a few seconds crashes with black screen error message with "Send/Don't send the message about error to MS". I've tried to change compatibility to Win98, but it has no effect. Can you help me pls?
