My reputation just dropped to rascal after having faithfully delivered some goods. Does anyone understand the mechanics of "reputation" and how to raise it.

No, but I did take another job at the same time but it did'nt delay me as I did the quests in the order of getting them, and on time.

my reputation went down to horror of the high seas for no apparent reason. i have no idea why this happened. But if you realy want to get your reputation up use a cheat.

Just go to a priest and donate cash to the church to increase reputation...

Not paying the loneshark back will probably lower your rep, killing gaurds, doing Quests for that pirate dude who you cant kill. Killing innocent people, attack friendly (and probably unfriendly) boats except the pirates.

If you work for Santos your reputation will greatly decrease.

you should ask the ones who make modes.why?because they understand c++ and can look in da' files and see the sense of this.so jopieseethoek and other mod makers .......help!

this happens if you'd been running/sailing around without defnite/specific thing/quest/mission to do.
