This game is pretty scary, but in my opinion not as scary as Silent Hill 2 *shivers*. Never play these games in the dark, or you might start seeing things.

The first time i played it my m8 was round. i was playing and i saw the first ghost u have to fight we screamed so loud i think my neibour neibours could hear. i paused the game and we ran down stairs to calm down. after bout 10 miins we went back up and saw blood prints on the screen and we screamed again (heh heh kindda stupid i know )
But now im use to it and it only makes me jump when a ghost is right in ur face or u cant find it.

yeah the first time i played this was with my friend, and i was so scared when a ghost appeared, that i couldnt shoot at the ghost so i just ended up throwing the controller at my friend. i dont think he appreciated it.

I played it at lunch one thime with me two mates, this kid ran past and made me really badly jump i screamed them my mate sam and my other mate amy had a spaz attack lol (not literaly).
Then i had to fight man with long arms who is just plain bloody scarey anyway, blinded was walking down some stairs so i didnt even know i was in a battle and she attacked me its scarey but i still love it .
It was so cheap as well brand new, i cant wait for the 2nd 1 to come out here in England.

Fatal Frame 1 and 2 are the scariest games out there. It was voted but i can't remember which Fatal Frame won. Well Silent Hill is not the least bit scary compared to FF series. I like the style of scaring in the FF games. The ghosts just pop up ( scares even people who don't believe in ghosts) and they do what people call an "emotioanl drainage" it slowly scares u but eventually u get scared so much that u r "emotianlly drained". I also here that u hallucinate after playing it. Also some people say if u pause the game when fighting the last boss and look in a mirror u'll see the last boss.

Fatal Frame 2: Crimson Butterfly was the one that was dubbed as the survival horror game of the year 2003...

The Fatal Frame games have their own ways of scaring. It's the eeriness and the suspense that makes it scary. Silent Hill games makes itself scary bec. of it's wierdness and mysterious surroundings and creatures. So that means the Fatal Frame and Silent Hill series are pretty well in a tie.

I'm a die-hard Silent Hill fan, and I'm playing Fatal Frame now. I'm typing this because I'm too freaked out to continue right now.

In my opinion, both FF and SH are excellent survival horror for very different reasons. In SH you hear people crying in abandoned buildings, banging on walls, and whispering to you. BUT! You can always slam the door on a bad guy. In Fatal Frame, I found out that's not the case! I nearly DIED when a ghost followed me through a freakin' wall!! Yikes!

This game is bloody scary. Here is something that happened to me.
I was fighting the man wit long arms and he was kicking my ass so I ran up the stairs were you found Mafayu's camera and just when I started to relax he came through the floor and wall to get me!!!! I shit myself!!!!

Fatla Frame I and II are the scariest games around, because they appeal to your most basic animalistic instincts: fear for the unknown, fear of pain and torture, and the sheer need to survive.

There are no misty worlds, no alternate realities, no dilemas between good and evil, right and wrong. You are not in a nightmare, and you don't have to spend the enitre game trying to figure out if the monsters are real or not. You are in a haunted mansion, filled with morbid soul seeking tortured ghosts that want to kill you.

Fatal Frame and Silent Hill will hold the Tag Team Title for the Scariest Games Ever for a long, long time ....

Or until Barbie makes another riding game ... ( runs and hides )

Silent Hill 2 Kicks Ass! It's Way Scarier Than Fatal Frame! Fatal Frame Just Made Me Laugh Because It Tried To Be Scary, I Did Like The Game Though. But My Advice Is Stick To Silent Hill Series.

I'd actually reverse that opinion. I found SH to be ok but the suspense and fear that the FF series has is awesome.
