My facorite ghost is definatly Casper!

i liked little kirie, she wasnt scary you wouildnt believe how scared i am of this game. i liked the crawling girl(was she the old rope shrine maiden?) cos she isnt so scary looking! i hate the blind demon though, her screams really creep me out, and she lunges for you..which is unfair!

I think older Kirie is pretty....but shes also REALLY creepy.... i like little Kirie too. But my favorite ghost was the immoble ghost in the kimono room. The Woman in Kimono....i think thats her name...hehehe she was so nice.[color=red][/color]

Blinded Woman was probably my favorite battling ghost because I found it really amusing when she got really up close and you could see the pixels on the blood. But it came to the point when her screams of "my eyes! my eyes!" got really annoying and one of my friends would press mute each time I fought her.

For Wandering, I've always liked Mafuyu because I thought it was kinda sad each time Miku would gasp and say "big brother!"

Woman in Kimono was pretty cool. She was the only ghost (that I can remember) that didn't look either threatened, tortured or obscure.

I never understood the Seductress. She didn't really look that...seducing.

LOL. Yeah, the Seductress just looked like somebody's slutty cousin peeking out from behind the bureau with her garish red-dyed hair. They should have had her leaning back, blouse unbuttoned, beckoning the player forward to truly call her a Seductress.

I would have to say Kirie, But not the child Kirie. ; cause she just looked freaky (not as in scary wise) but she looked like either really fat or a doll.. either one works.

But the one I like is the older Kirie. You see her the most at the end of the game, where she has to hang her self up before the hell gate, to stop the menace.

she is really pretty there.

Me too, and me too. Except for the crawling girl, her background music was creepy.
I also like Long Arms. His face when he peeks around the corner is just so...sad. I feel sorry for him sometimes. His ice eyes just make you shiver. Of course, he took all those children away for no apparent reason, but I still think Arms is cool.

EDIT:Another ghost for my HATE list, Wandering Man. He and Flying Woman should hook up, they both are frightening and unfairly grab you.

I have only 4 favorite ghost 1st it's the blinded women,2nd it's the little girl in the doll's room you know the place where you can hear a baby crying,and the 3rd it's the girl coming out from the shaft in the courtyard,and also the women in the same courtyard, you know thw girl who say''tell him tell him'' So this is my kind of ghost.

the long armed ghost was a freak. i dont like how he used to stick his head around corners. weirdo! also, i hate the wondering monks as well. bloody things, they never leave you alone! and their really fast!

scary as they were, I always had a great laugh when ghosts appear, including my brother.....

I don't know if I have a favorite ghost picked out yet...

But a few moments that I clearly remember and or jumped at were...

After beating the kid in the clock if you turn and go up the stairs a ball bounces down the stairs past you, that gave me the creeps

after finally finding rage mask you head toward entry and pass through rope hallway and Miku jumps when a rope swishes past you, yeah that one made me jump to, maybe only because Miku gasped and she hardly ever loses her cool

the kid in the doll room, heck the whole dool room for that matter creeps me out

I would have to say mostly for me it's the barely noticeable/background little things they did that get me like shadows of ppl behind screens little whispers moans behind you sudden movement out of corner of eye and some of the vantage points you see yourself from like its someone else watching you as you move I think they did a fantastic job on the ambience.

yeah, but i didnt know about the ball going down the stairs. that sounds like what happened in the film "the shining". the kid who comes out of the clock is scary. i kind of liked the doll room, it was one of the places i felt safe in. though i didnt like the demon tag scroll!

The Seductress looked like Raggedy Ann.

You know what else is scary? Today I heard a whisper in the Anterroom by the dolls. It was just this quiet little breath... It scared the bjeezus out of me.
What also scares me is when the chests rattle at random intervals.

the chest scared me as well! but it sort of amde me laugh. mainly because, its proper psyhcological game, and then they add something really 'old school' horror like the rattling chest. hehe.
