Am I the only one interested in rally games?

Rally is the most challenging and skillful racing in the world. NASCAR is for women. Does anyone know what mode is unlocked if you beat the game in normal mode?

finishing in normal gives you 5 new career rallies:
ice racing 30 lap race vs unlimiteds, rallycross 30 lap race vs unlimiteds, and all 3 hill climbs downhill, which imo are the only real bonus.

sadly theres no hard level as the early rallies are now far too easy

Personally, Rally, Touring car, and Le-mans are the best racing leagues in the world. Forget all that Indy, stock car BS.... here in the states they seem to eat that "round the oval track" crap up! The three race types above mentioned feature the worlds best car offerings and some of the most grueling, challenging, and endurance testing courses on the planet.

I just wish i could see more of the action on U.S. TV

does anyone has problems running the game on GeForce4 Ti4200? I've tried everything and the game runs in slow motion (even with the worst graphics settings)

What vid card driver are you using? You should get the latest drivers from nvidia, try to check their website on a regular basis for new versions. The newest signed WHQL driver is 40.72.

i'm also having problems,my game wont even run after clicking on play.i have an "up to date" p.c with a geforce3ti200 and the latest drivers+dx8.1,dont you think the troubleshooting documents in the file set the alarm bells ringing?.they know the game has problems but they gotta have it out before christmas and....oh whats the use!!the least they can do is get a patch out...heres hoping

It's the best Rally game on Xbox, no question - until Rallisport Challenge 2 comes out in March ...

There is no players on the servers for this game. I wanted to play against some other but there was no one online. To bad for this great game. Hope it would be better with the number 2.

Oval racing and circuit racing are very different.

In a circuit race the cars turn many corners etc and the cars are set up a whole lot diff then an oval race. What you must understand tho is that in circuit racing the field spreads apart very easily and once you get a massive lead there isnt much chance of getting to 1st unless something drastic happens. Also the passing is nowhere near as much as in nascar or in indys oval races. Thats the great thing about oval racing, if you have ever watch a race or played Nascar racing 2003 you should understand what i mean.. in just one race in nascar you can have up to 30 different leaders thruout the whole race, with most of the race being VERY very close, sometimes the whole pack sometimes stays together for most of the race, which leads to some very spectacular racing.
If you look at it skill wise, there is no diff between a nascar driver and a touring car driver, in some aspects a nascar driver needs much more concentration then a touring car driver.. if u look at it, they travel around a corner basically single file in circuit racing... oval racing.. sometimes can b 4 wide round a corner with most of the race run in double file! think of the skill required to do such a thing. your travelling at say 200mph, roudabouts 300 and something km/h, and there is a car outside of you, say no more then 50 cm's away from your side, and one on the inside and you have to hold your line thru the corner.... if you have played a decent nascar or indy game you would know how freakin hard this type of racing is. (on 100% difficulty no noobish shiat)
I didnt come here to put down either type of racing i jus wanted to show the points of nascar which you ppl have seemed to of missed.
Now to my opinion, I agree with you all and i prefer racing on a circuit or rally to an oval anyday, but saying that nascar and indy require no skill is really not true and very biased.
