Athletic Club

So I made this massive athletic club kind of place in Sims 2 OFB. I spent hours on it, and was so excited to open it.
There's exercise equipment, a pool, hot tubs, a sauna, pool tables, tv, karaoke, dancing, and more.

I then set a ticket machine outside and opened business.

People will buy a ticket, go in, and go straight to the exercise stuff. When they get tired they leave.
They don't go anywhere else. That's the only room they go in.

Nothing is blocked off. My sim can go everywhere. If I go play pool and then ask someone to join, they'll walk half way there, then turn around the leave the lot.

Why won't they take advantage of the fun things?

re: Athletic Club

Try taking down the walls that separate different rooms and see if that makes any difference.

re: Athletic Club

The problem is that the exercise stuff is the big draw item. Its like fun to them. Which is great except that it makes them tired and stinky which then causes them to need to go home. Because they don't want to be there spending their money if they aren't in a good mood anymore.

Try using a few less exercise machines and see if other stuff gets used. Or put them in your inventory and only take them out after the customer has used other stuff.

If you have Seasons you can use the adventure or journalism reward items to help keep them from getting tired. But it may take more than a few. Snapdragons may help with the stink.

If that is the problem, then you just need a shower room. If you have University, you can get public showers.
