This game won't freakin start up. When I click the icon on the desktop it shows the BF1942 Splash Screen then my screen goes black like its starting up. Then it crashes to the desktop and there is an error beep. I've downloaded to new patch and tried all the tricks in the Settings folder and have reinstalled the game many times. Help me out please. Hmmm It might be the Graphics card or it might be the game I dont know try going back where you bought it from and exchange it for a new Box....

If that won't work I dont know

Its not the game. I downloaded the demo and it also did the same thing.

I guess Buy a new Graphics card. I had a new computer with a intagrade ( or whatever ) card and BF Demo did not work.

I recommend Radeons they are preety cool

Actually.. Go buy "A" video card LOL.. you technically dont even have a REAL video card right now.

I am 99.999999998% sure that it is because of that integrated card you have If you are on a tight budget go get a Radeon 9100 it is the best card you can get for under 80 bucks.

I have the same problem however i have a GeForce 4 TI 4200 card and the game loads, balck screen show up, and then crashes to windows xp. So it cant be a gfx problem or could it be?

First make sure everything is at stock speeds (Not overclocked)...

Then try and update your motherboard Bios and Drivers to the lastest version, do that with your saound and video drivers also.

okay well i clocked it back down to normal speeds updated my bois and vid card and sound it is still doing it. Anything else that i can do thanks
