Is it possible to sink these? They can a turning point in a battle y'know. I try to sink them all the time. I would take a plane and fly as a kamakazi fighter and fly into the ship. I die, lose points, but the ship remains...

Umm yes keep bombing them not Kamikaze them they will slowly start to smoke and then sink...

Or I remember in 1.5 you could take the bazooka and shoot at a special place on the carrier to sink it in 5 shots...

I never actually sinked one, but I always keep up making atacks on em with mi aircraft, usually just manage to kill the soldiers on deck... I never saw one sink actually, does it looks cool?? Was it actually posible to sink em by crashing em against destroyers... and what happens if I crash one???

It has the same sinking motion as any other ship, it's nothing special. Now a sight to see is watching the U.S. Carrier in DesertCombat sink. A friggin' Yamato only takes like 1/100 of its armor every time it hits. I've only seen it sink once, and even then it was just because it was off the map.

As for crashing it, I don't think it does any damage because ships can't really gain that much speed, but if it does it would be its current armor level decides if it sinks or not.

There is also one hilarious way to sink them as well.

1) Pilot your aircraft carrier
2) Ram the enemy's carrier on the side
3) Man one of the side flak guns and shoot at it

It's sooooooo funny.
Actually, I've only done this on battleships, and some even flipped over! It should still work though. You would probably just get more damage and it would probably take longer to sink.

i was on an aircraft carrier when it sunk. godammit i was in a gun battery. i died.

just take a battleship or destroyer then go to your enemies carrier the sink it or sabotage climb up on the ladder then put c4 on it until it sinks no gaurantees

its very easy to make a carrier sink just take the plane with one long bomb underneath it then you fly very low over the water towards the carrier just drop the bomb in the water and it will continue its way till it rams in the carrier you do have to fly very low. this way you only need about 5 bombs

To sabotage enemy carriers shoot the AA guns on the sided with a bazooka -Very Cheap- but it works and thats what you are asking for. for a guide on this go to gamefaqs and look at the FAQ about tactics: www.gamefaqs.com

Nothing happeneds, you get turned around and thats it. You cannot sink any ships contrary to what you`ve been told.
