I'm a newbie here and grateful for your advice.

When I run Battlefield 1942, the game doesn't recognize my joystick. In the Controls settings, I only saw the keyboard and the Mouse (sensitivity). The same problem occurs with Battlefield - Vietnam.

Does anyone know how you can make Battlefield recognize your joystick?

When you go into your options, go to controls. From their, go to Aircraft and then go to pitch\turn or whatever it says. Click on the box next to it and then move the joystick in the way you want the aircraft to move in the game.

For example, if you wanted to jump by pressing a button on your joystick. Go into the Infantry options, click on the button that it used to jump "Space" and press the button on your joystick you want to jump.

Its sorta hard to explain since I don't have the game installed right now...
