Alright, one of the first things I've noticed here is that you don't nessessarily unlock a stange for play in Caravan mode just by beating it (Bosses seem to be unlocked in this method though). On my first run through Arcade, I got up to the fifth stage, and unlocked up to the third stage. More recently, I got as far as the sixth stage, and I've now unlocked up to the fifth. I'm thinking the unlocks are based on your score... or possibly, you unlock a stage by beating it without having to retry. If anyone has any information they feel could help contribute to this, please post away...
