Ok, im still not sure about when exactly this game is coming out. I've seen like two different release dates, but i dont know which one is the real release date. If anyone knows, could you tell me please cause i REALLY want to get this game!

According to websites I've checked (Gamestop, EB Games), the current scheduled release date is March 28th.

Just remember: 28th is the day it's sent out to everywhere. The 29th is the day it's truly available.

I picked it up Friday. It's a fun game but be warned if you're gonna pick it up: Brain surgery and rocket science combined are easier than this game. I'd suggest you rent it first, but either way it's worth a try.

I dont think its that hard, ive played it in the arcades a few times and its fun (a little challenging but fun).

I have not, and I don't plan on getting it either. Seriously, the reviews have not been mentioning anything impressive and have been giving it low scores, and the previews only had the typical marketing babble in them. Nothing overly impressive either way... this game will soon be meeting obscurity.

Those who have some familiarity with the Bemani franchise will know what's going on. And since I'm one of them, I can tell you that practically every review out there is erroneous and misleading.

yes, and one of the most popular reviews talked about is the stupid IGN review. the "profressionals" were basically trying to say that its bad, but it seriously isnt. just get used to the way the game is played, and u will be satisfied.

The only review I've read so far was Game Informer, they gave it a 7.5 out of 10. They did note it's insanely hard and there's not the best variety in music and the controller buttons stick sometimes (I haven't had that issue yet), but it's still addicting and has high replay value.

well yes, beatmania is definitely a hard game, especially if u have no hand-eye coordination whatsoever. i actually think that there's a lot of variety in the music.

It's decent so far, my biggest gripe with it is that most of the songs I heard are in almost every other DDR game. Some of them I don't have a problem with, but more variety would've been nice.

Um, you're playing the series that they originated from. This is a selling point and a strategy: you know how it sounds so that should help you.

Which it does, a little bit, plus I played a game called "Beat Player 2000" several years back (knockoff of the game but played the exact same way; Not a Bemani game though). Although the gameplay makes Paranoia MAX sound a little bit different. The game also could've used a "Freestyle" mode (I don't think there's one in there) because sometimes it's fun to screw up and make the music sound crazy.
