Ok so I'd just thought I'd make this post becuase of the number of Idiots getting the Ragnorak blade, instead of the awsome magicite.

1. THE MAGICITE IS FREECKEN AWSOME! Yeah, it may not attack, but it's Esper move only costs 1mp, and with it, you can get awsome items you may have missed, Like EXP. Eggs, Master Scrolls, and Celestraids. It's one of the best esper moves in the game.

2. YOU CAN GET THE RAGNORAK BLADE ANYWAY! Thats right, you heard me, you can get both, You can steal the Ragornak blade of the 2nd to last boss before you fight Kefka, and theres even a nifty little *tip* were you can get infinate Ragnoraks/Ultimate weapons by doing this!

3. YOU'LL NEVER GET THIS MAGICITE AGAIN! Thats right guys, if you pick the Ragnorak Sword, you're screwed, you'll never ever be able to get the magicite agian, EVER! So If you want I nice big blank space in you're magicite compartment then go ahead and get the sword. May I also add that you can get the Ragnorak sword anyway, after picking the Magicite.

4. THE RAGORAK SWORD, ISN'T EVEN THAT GOOD! Yeah, it does have the biggest attack raise in the game and it may be good at you're part in the game, but theres other great weapons that can Easily overpower it, Like, Ultima Weapon, Illumina and Soul Sabre. Theres also a bunch of other weapons too.

5. YOU LEARN THE STRONGEST MAGIC IN THE GAME OFF THIS GUY! I'm not joking, you miss the oppurtunity of getting the great Ultima spell, the strongest magic in the game if you don't get the Magicite, you can never get it again either. Completely killing you're chance of ever getting every magic in the game.

So now you know, 5 great reasons, NOT to get the Sword, and if you do get the sword, SO HELP YOU GOD! I'll rip your balls off, put them in a blender, and make you drink them. Then and make you be sick and drink you're puke.

Then shoot you.

I mean it.

Number 4 isn't right, to get Illumina, the best pre GBA added content sword(so the best in the original game) you will need to bet the raganarok sword.

Still if you get the Ragnorok early it can help you with some of the other bosses. I easily beat Deathgaze with it.

Still, if you want to master the game and get every feature, then I'd suggest the summon, plus Ultima would be VERY useful against the last boss...

You mean Kefka?

I just use duel Ultima Weapons on him.
I kill him in about....3 turns after using it for a while.
I cast a Curaga or two and rarely a Arise but yeah you gte my point.

It's just that I have the tendency to try to beat hard bosses at low levels or handicaps like, all characters at low levels or only 1 high level character, get my drift?(I dont like games to be to easy or else I'll get really disapointed)

I might do it after i beat this game once so i know how the game is rolled out.

The 5th reason is incorrect as you can learn Ultima from equipping the Paladin Shield.

1. It costs 3mp not 1mp
2. Who didn't know that?
3. You have a blank slot anyway (either Odin or Raiden depending)
4. It's a pretty damn useful sword (pre-Lightbringer anyway)
5. Paladin Shield teaches Ultima at the exact same rate as the Magicite.

1. really, I was thought it cost 6mp
2. You now. everyone will now once they defeated them and check their bestiary entry.
3. you need a blank spot anyway, or you cannot remove esper easily
4. Only with this sword you can get lightbringer wich is the best weapon in the game
5. Did you now that paladin shield is better to learn from

The most amazing thing happened.I just started final fantasy vi advance and on the missing in which the treasure-hunter is sent into South Figaro and we have to escape.I used steal on the green uniform grunt and i got ragnarok and his clothes(which we always get:P).I swear by the BIBLE that this happend really.

Now i obtained another ragnorak from stealing from the merchant i tried it a again and again and now i got ten ragnaroks:cool:
