My party consists of Locke, Setzer, Edgar and Sabin. I can no longer enter the Imperial Observation Post. Each time I try, I get a message stating that the Espers wouldn't give us the time of day without (one of the female characters that I renamed). Therefore, I have searched everywhere and can't find a way to bring her back into my party. Perhaps I have encountered a bug in the game. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

The girl I'm looking for is Terra. I went back to Zozo, but she is not there. Nor is the Blackjack airship. When I entered one of the buildings in Zozo, the character at the desk said that there was a girl at the top of the building. I went to the top and found the bed that Terra had been sleeping in, but she was no longer there. I could see a faint outline of her head in the bed, but the bed was empty.

Terra, where are you?

hmm. you must have missed out on a hint that the story gives you. you're probably supposed to go to the magitek research facility in vector.

Thank you for your response, Eclewlow. Unfortunately, I was previously in the Magik Factory as well as Vector. Now, I can't even get into Vector. At the entrance of Vector is a large guard that takes zero damage and won't let me pass.

I'm open to other ideas. I love the game and would have to quit.

I do have question before I think I can help you out further. In Zozo, have seen Terra in there at all? And also did you get to speak to an esper named Ramuh?

Thank you so much for your reply. I really appreciate your help, or anyone's. You asked if I saw Terra In Zozo. I believe I did so, earlier in the game and that leads me to believe that I probably encountered Ramuh. I just don't remember Ramuh, specifically.
Leading up to the Imperial Observation Post, I believe I completed every mission in the World of Balance, with the exception of the clock puzzle. It seems that it was at the Imperial Observation Post is where I began to have my problem. When I first entered the Imperial Observation Post, I tried to hide from the guards, but I kept getting caught. Therefore, I saved the game and put it down for a few weeks. Unfortunately, when I resumed the game and tried to re-enter the Imperial Observation Post, I wasn't allowed in without Terra. Now, after looking seemingly everywhere in the World of Balance, I can't find her. I even went back and completed the clock quest in Zozo, but still no Terra.
It's funny because when I went back to the Elder House in Narshe, I spoke with Bannon and he said words to the effect that he is confident that Terra will be successful. He spoke as if she was in my group, but she isn't.

Okay, I just wanted to try and figure out where you are in the game. Though one thing isn't making sense to me is that I don't remember any guards being in the Observation Post. I remember it being empty, and the basement being locked. Then you have a talk with the emperor and he then allows you to take what's in the basement. So this is making me think you have a bug in the game.

I think one resort might be is to talk to one of the other characters in the Blackjack. Then when it asks "Change party members?" say yes and look for Terra from the available characters.

I think you are probably correct, in that it appears I may have a bug in the game. You mentioned that I should talk to one of the other characters in the Blackjack. What do you mean when you say Blackjack?

Yeah, if it is a bug, I don't know how it can be fixed so can't help there .

The Blackjack is the name of the Setzer's airship.

ya that's right. if she's not in Zozo, she definitely should be with your party. They will be on your airship.

I sincerely thank both of you for your input. Unfortunately, I am no longer able to access the Blackjack. There doesn't appear to be any way to get Terra back to my party. It looks like I encountered a rare bug.

For anyone reading this thread, don't let this stop you from enjoying this great game. It's not likely that you will encounter the bug I ran into.
