Has anyone encountered a glitch with missing relics--growth eggs in particular? I morphed three additional growth eggs and have been building experience with parties of 4. When I returned to the ship and swapped characters...I was inexplicably down to only 3 eggs. I Unequipped anyone not in my party and still only 3 eggs. Any ideas? Not a big deal, I've just gone and morphed another, but it's bugging me. Thanks!

How do you morph Growth Eggs?

I'm not sure what happened, but I'm sure there is no glitch about disappearing Relics....maybe you sold them on accident?

You can morph them from the Vasegiatta in a patch of grass southwest of Thamasa. I think the success rate is very low, about 1 out of 10 tries maybe? You often morph a potion instead, and even that fails quite a bit. I definitely didn't sell them--they were equipped on all four characters and all I did was board the ship to exchange characters and one was missing. I know for sure because I went back to my last save spot just a minute prior and all four were there. Then when I boarded the ship and exchanged characters, only 3. Very odd! (I morphed a 4th and haven't experienced the "glitch" again.)

If you used the Old Man to un-equip everything, I don't think the Relics come off...although I'm not positive.

The relics do come off actually--and that's exactly how I lost one. Now I wonder if I'd manually removed them if It would have changed things. Too late to check because I've already saved over that save spot.

It might be better....it's very strange that it would disappear...

I have also lost a growth egg, my only one in fact...after i beat kefka and loaded my new game plus, I had no growth egg anymore when I had 1 before the battle...I have NO idea where it went

Sounds odd that such an occurance in the game would happen. I've won 3 growth eggs, so 4 in total in my inventory. None of them disappearing after beating the game or using the old man to unequip every character. I would actually like to see it happen if its possible.

It really is an odd glitch--that I have not been able to reproduce! It only happened at that one moment in the game that I originally described. I routinely use the growth eggs on all four characters and then swap them out to other characters as I change for a new round of experience building. No eggs have come up missing since that original point in the game.

It does sound pretty strange I haven't had anything dissapear through using the unequip option. Though when it comes to growth eggs I only have one since I take the sword not the esper.

Just wondering if u happened to be using Umaro with the growth egg. I've noticed that when u use the old man to unequip everyone, his relics don't come off. I've had to manually unequip his.

That's a very interesting question...I just might have been using Umaro in my party but I can't remember for sure. But that would explain what happened.

It was nice when I was going through it. I just entered random codes and got it on the first try. I didn't pay attention to what it said so I couldn't quite find it afterwards, but the second time I looked at the message I put down I laughed. It's so true.
