Good to know (Spoilers) |
|
Nice, Square actually went far enough to destroy the world without any time travel thinge where there is an easily foreseeable fix. Hopefully the ending won't have any stupid quick fix and they have to spend hundreds of years recovering.
Ant thoughts? Any forum activity at all?

Umm...what? Kefka turns the world to ruin, but he didn't destroy it. Most of us have beaten the game seeing as it came out a while ago. From the looks of it, it will take quite a while for the world to become like it used to.
Why would you want the world to be destroyed anyway? ------------------- ![]() - Kingdom Hearts: 358/2 Days - Final Fantasy Dissidia - MegaMan Star Force 3: Black Ace/Red Joker -

You do realize that 99% of the time someone talks about the end of the world they're actually just talking about some kind of apocalypse. The world may still be there and it may still be inhabited, but if it is it is hell.
And you know that's actually an interesting question. No where did I suggest that I want the world to be destroyed it's just that I'm glad that there's at least one game where Swirve actually went through with it. (Chrono Trigger dosn't count). If you look at some of their early work you invariable see something incredibly sappy or stupid somewhere along the line so I'm glad to see the polar opposite. The world dosn't always end up as a happy place, and things should reflect that.

Most instances generally have the main party of heroes saving the world before it falls into ruin.
Unfortunately in Final Fantasy VI, the party were unable to prevent Kefka from destroying the world. ------------------- I want your love. And I want your revenge

quote Matt AddisonBut he didn't actually destroy it, he just made it into ruin, once the game is finished, and Kefka is deafeted, you see the world go back to normal, but the world map always stays the same.
