Is Tales of the Tempest going to be localized? Since this is going to be the whole reason why I should get a DS.

Possibly, but at the moment, it is a Japan-only title. Unless, which is what we are all hoping for, it will follow the footsteps of Harvest Moon: Another Wonderful Life and be released internationally.

One of Namco latest Tales (Teles of Legendia) didn't do so well. So maybe they will think that it's going to happen to this Tales too.

They should release this in English as, well, what have Namco got to lose? After the sucess of Tales of Symphonia, the tales series has evolved into one of the most popular and anticipated in the world! They NEED to release this in English.

They might not release in in english(wich really pisses me off)but in my opinion they should, seing ToS getting lots of money for nintendo and probably being the best of the series. Plus nintendo would need this title in english for more money.

I can't say whether Phantasia's better or not. xD It's the first game after all, and after three more incarnations after the SNES version

Ah, that is difficult, I mean they were both the most addictive games in the series (racking up about 200 hours on phantasia and 400 on symphonia) not even abyss is better.Amazingly.I still think Rebirth is the best though. And what do they do? THEY DONT RELEASE IT IN DAMN ENGLISH. So you just have to look at GameFaqs every ten minutes. I hear the Psone version of phantasia was the best remake in the series. But since Ive only played Phantasia on the GBA, Id say symphonia was better. And yeah, I somewhat have my doubts about Tempest being releasing english.Booooo.
