Just a comment to the people talking about me like school girls when someone's left the room. Contrary to what you think about my thoughts in my posts, I am in no way a fanboy, aside from Marvel Comics, and Star Wars books, and I'm still not that much of a fanbot that I go to conventions (most of the time). I don't go around the internet lying about things to make a point for any specific console. The facts are I OWNED BOTH systems that I comment on, unlike most people here. In case anyone hasn't noticed I never even talk about Wii....that's cuz I don't own one, and have no interest in the system. 360 on the other hand, I owned for quite a while. If I had a PC to do it, I'd post up my 360 pre-order slip, reciept, and trade-in slip. 360 was good for me for a while. There were games I had to have like GRAW1 and 2, Oblivion, what I thought was going to be a PC port of BF2 (big let down there, though the graphics were almost there), and I HAD to have Gears when it came. The week DR came out I rented it and got the ring. I had to pay at that time. $150. I didn't have to pay for my 2nd ring last July. I got PS3 the month it came out. I loved the exclusive games back then. Last August better PS3 versions of the few game I like started coming out, so I traded in my 360 Sept 17th. Since then, nothing but many great PS3 exclusive games that I am interested in have come out in a steady stream. I have to cut this short here cuz this post is getting long, but there are alot more things that wasted my money. I gave 360 it's fair chance and found it not worth the money and time I was putting in, not to mention I was breaking my vow of not paying for online. I havn't had any of these thoughts or problems with PS3, so that is the system I am going to put my word behind. I would never in good conscience suggest a 360 to anyone, for many many reasons. I've experienced both sides of the force to their fullest, and I think my words matter, cuz I see lots of bad advice from people on forums all over the web on the PS3 vs 360 hot button issue. All my posts are well thought out for the most part, and believe it or not, I hate typing, It's just I think most other people hate it alot more, cuz I don't see alot of other well thought out, unbiased ideas, that are complete thoughts. I am unbiased, I just chose what I believe is not wasting my and other people's money who havn't experienced both. Also, I think my sig could make ppl think I'm a fanboy, but again, I just think I'm telling it like it is. It has no advantage besides price, and even THAT is just an illusion.

You're right. If BioShock came out on PS3 I would have bought it. You are spot on with that. But what you don't know, is that if I still had my 360 when BioShock came out, I would have bought it on 360 if it didn't come out on PS3, which it didn't. Just cuz I don't think a game is a 10, doesn't mean I wouldn't buy it.

I only think 3 games that are on PS3 are 10's. CoD4, GRAW2 (which is a 9 to me on 360 it's the plethora of content that turned it into a 10) and Oblivion. There are a few games I consider 10's on 360 as well. Neither of which is Halo or BioShock. I'm not a fanboy, so you, and everyone else can stop twisting what I say, my rational, unbiased, UNINSULTING thoughts and turn it into fanboy flames. I liked 360 for a while, I just don't see much of a future for it, and for me, it was a lost cause, and alot of wasted money. And I'm not calling the system and it's games a waste of my money, I'm calling all the other cash I had to spend on it a waste. And it was all stuff you (i) NEED, not want. And the hardware used to make that system is also a waste. I enjoyed the games. I don't attack anyone who loves the 360, but people attack me for supporting PS3, and sharing my bad experiences with 360. No one here ever seems to have a problem with people sharing their bad PS3 experiences. What Am I different? Is it my sig? Do you see me flaming people who have PS3 problems, even when I think they are lying? Nope, never happened. I am not a fanboy, I am the TRUTH............. Only 2 things from me: Try shortening up your posts, cause that one's too long for me to take the time to read. Secondly, changing your sig may be a good idea, cause it sends out the wrong message about yourself.

I have a friend who was also sick of the 360. He got RRoD-ed three consecutive times, and was generally bored with it. He got a PS3 and has been happy since. Did I call him an anti-360 fanboy? No, because he had good reasons for switching, and has the right to choose freely with his own opinion. Is it also so wrong to not care as much about some big games? We all have different tastes. A person can not like Bioshock if they want to, it's a free country. To get angry over someone else's opinion is frankly very pointless, whether or not that opinion is reasonable. They're happy as they are, why get worked up over someone who lives hundreds of miles away? I'd like to say more, but the character limit on my PS3 is being dumb...

Yea, man. That character limit was one of the worst problems I thought PS3 had. That also could be one of the reasons I put such long posts. My PS3 is my PC, so for a long time I was stuck with that annoying limit. Just an FYI, if you ever update to a hi-def tv that character limit disappears when you are displaying the xmb in at least 1080i. It's still there in 720p. When you go up to 1080i, the PS3 web browser loses alot of it's limits that it has when on 720p or lower. Even some web pages I couldn't even visit on my sdtv, I now can with no problem.

Changing resolution solves all that??? I can't believe I never knew that, as it's fairly significant. And yeah, my PS3 is my PC; I surf the net on it way more than my desktop. Even though the PS3 browser is riddled with little flaws.

I wasn't being a pessimist, i was being a realist. I wasn't trying to get excited before it actually happened. And now since its 100% official, instead of speculation due to people dropping HD-DVD i wasn't, like the rest, jumping to conclusions. So please nice try but i am a optimist. Behind the scenes i was excited but i didn't want to sound like a huge Fanboy saying "haha go Sony and Blu-ray rules all" , and it doesn't happen.

And frankly if this is in fact the game I'm even less intrigued by the obvious method of hyping the game. In fact it is very likely my disinterest in this kind of blatant over hyping of everything that actually allows me to enjoy the games rather than getting my hopes up to over inflated levels only to have them dashed when the game fails to meet my ridiculusly high expectations.

I thought forums were for discussion, not for arguing and insulting. All I've ever seen you do in this forum is act like a bell end. You don't just talk with people about their opinions, you insult their intelligence and give a sarcastic remark almost every post. Surely if you have such a problem then why do you keep visiting, so you can remind people how much better you think you are than them?

I already stated my opinion on the thread topic so I won't bother repeating myself. On the subject of Heavy Rain though, I do have an interest in it, but I have found out very little news about it, nor seen any new screen shots or videos since Autumn 2006. I hope the long development time on it is worth it, as it could prove to be an interesting game. The tech demo was impressive considering everything was done within 3 months, so hopefully progress in the development is going just as well.

Yay, that's great, I don't honestly care. I never respected you to begin with, so now we're the same; it's not like you ever respected me to begin with. I feel that I have the right to believe what I want, and not conform to someone else's opinions. I ain't flaming anyone, nor am I insulting anyone either, unlike some others who feel that everything needs a good dose of sarcasm and insults to get their points across. If conformity is what I need for respect, then I don't want it.

If I get banned for standing up for my own opinions, then that means there is a seriously weird set of rules here. I had no idea standing up for someone else was a crime, especially when the ones who are against them don't seem to have respect for anyone.
