	What? The game is being released in Japan exclusively on FFXIII. So distributor and creator are Japanese. Not sure why they would have an issue. But if you mean that the people there would be po'd because Square is ditched the exclusive thing to release for Microsoft, then yea. 	See now I've calmed down completely thanks to having two days to thinka bout it, and you know what, I don't care about it as much as I did on the first day. I mean I'd still rather it didn't go to the XBOX360, but truth be told, the only reason I don't want that to happen is because I'm scared that they may move all future development of games to the XBOX360 which is NOT possible because as we've already seen they wont be releasing FFXIII on the X360 in Japan, to release FFXIV on the X360 EXCLUSIVELY and that too in Japan would be nightmare for them as it would mean less people would be able to get it there. Sure I (and many others) can't brag about FFXIII being exclusive, but at least we've still got it. The XBOX360 is deemed the FPS console, yet we've got quite a few good FPS games ourselves - Haze (argueable), Killzone 2, R:FoM, R2 etc... may not be up to the level of say the original Halo, but that was an XBOX game as was Halo 2. At the end of the day I think that the Playstation 3 and XBOX360 are both diversifying. Being an RPG gamer, for me Trophy's and leveling up system seems better for me (just my preference) and with FFXIII and FFvsXIII slated for the PS3, it's still the console I'd want. I could have gotten FFXIII chepaer on the X360, but then I'd not have been able to experiance games online such as Folklore and GTAIV, because there is no way that I'd pay for online (Before GTA the last game I played online was back in June 07, the last time I had downloaded something from the store was the day before - i.e. online for me = the content in the playstation store as opposed to the online games). Now with the topic of Media Hub vs Games Console, I really do like to use my PS3 as both. And I for one am happy that I can watch videos on my PS3, in fact I watch them more on my PS3 than on my Laptop because it's so much better to watch it on TV. quote Spartan1088 What? 	I've found a nice quote to stop some of the arguments we've had on the last few pages: quote The first question on the floor was one to clarify how, if at all, the Xbox 360 release would affect the PS3 version. The short answer is that it won't. Final Fantasy XIII is being developed first for the PS3 in Japan, a region that won't see an Xbox 360 release. The Xbox 360 iteration is a port of the PS3 build, but Square was quick to point out that you can't say this will cause a delay of the PS3 release in America. 	that is what I was thinking. I know the Japan PS3 version will be out sooner, but from the looks of it, SE thinks the release date is not being pushed back. They have either been working on the 360 version for awhile (very possible) or they will have to take time port it which might let the PS3 get it sooner. I dont have my hopes to high for this, so dont get your knickers in a twist, but there is always the slight possibility. -------------------

Well, unless they are lieing to us the porting process won't even begin until after the Japanesse release. And from what I understand it will be a seperate team working on it while the other works ont he localization. So unless they are determined to either slow down the localization or delay the US PS3 release I can't see the port keeping up.
