I was thinking of making a thread containing simple hints for new PS3 owners, such as how to reset video output settings etc. just basic things they may not know. It could be made as a sticky; hopefully that way the amount of suplicate threads for small issues will go down.

How would you guys feel about a General Discussion thread in this forum? It's an idea that I'm just throwing out there to see if it's wanted or not. It might help with the general community awareness and it might bring us all a bit closer together. I'll discuss it with Koloth when he comes online.

No, there was but I have seen it since even before I left for Bosnia on the 23rd of June and I looked but I couldn't find it.

We do have a GD. Last time I looked for it it was on page 9.

Not sure it serves to much of a purpose right now with the PPD so high.

Well a high PPD isn't the only goal in a forum. A strong community is important too and from what I've seen in the GTA forums an active GD thread greatly improves the forums appeal.

We have a pretty strong community though. But whatever. The GD is what it is. We can add it to the index though to make it easier to find. Just have to remember it needs to be deleted when it reaches 30 pages.

Yeah I know we have a very strong community. What I mean is a GD thread makes a forum seem more inviting to newcomers I think.

Personally I like the default colors. I don't know about Mnm though. It is something to consider. But nothing that I would be in any hurry to do.

I think changing the colours or creating the option to would just lead to the same situation we have in Loungin' ; most people are so used to the default colours that they would just ignore the others and stick with them.
