Demo?? I wonder if people in the US can download it.

How can they have a demo?

It gives you pre-recorded content to play around with. It looks really good, the channel starts recording as soon as you switch to it, so you can pause and rewind live TV without having to do anything special. The footage is bad quality though. I'm only getting PlayTV if it's HD, which doesn't seem likely.

Well I have Sky+ so there wouldn't be much point in me getting PlayTV then. Sky+ does everything PlayTV can do only better.

If it's HD, then at least certain channels will be better. Unless you have Sky HD.

You can still copy stuff from Sky+ too though. Although you need either a DVD Recorder or VCR to do so.

I think they should have waited with PlayTV, until it was possible to make it completely HD. That would have made it MASSIVE. Someone like me, who has their PS3 and TV in their room is not going to be able to get Sky HD (which also functions as Sky+) in there as well. Not without spending a lot of money. I have Sky, but getting a HD box is just going to cost a lot.

I thought PlayTV could have solved that, but as it is, it's just recordable Freeview, which is already on the market. I suppose I'll just wait until Sky HD is more affordable.

Have the option to bring up that background, in a couple of different colors as well. That would be cool.

Loungin is a lot bigger and active compared to here though. Is it really worth going through the effort of coding it into the forum for the handful of people that are gonna use it?

You did read the contract when you joined didn't you Mnmfan? Or did you miss the paragraph about being bound to the forum 24/7 and slave to the whim of the member?

Fortunately I had my lawyer give it the once over and had that part removed before I signed.

I still haven't signed my contract yet. There's a big coffee stain on it so I have to get Redemption to send me a new one. I'll keep putting off signing it and hopefully they'll forget all about it.
