Well Uncharted is definetly a great game and its part of the Greatest Hits so its much cheaper now.

Also, if you like FPS's, get Resistance or COD4. Resistance is also part of the Greatest hits so you can pick it up for cheaper.

And don't get PES. This year, Fifa was much better

Not sure as im from uk but i just looked on gamestop.com and they have resistance in greatest hits soo im not sure about uncharted.

Oblivion should keep you occupied for a loooooong time. Ive got about 35 hours in and havent even scratched the surface.

Uncharted's single player is not to long so if your looking for longetivity, then its probably something you might not be happy with. Still is a great game though.

But, Oblivion is no doubt the longest game available

Yeah Oblivion has the longest story in a game so far but it doesn't suit everyones taste. I finished the main story and completed all the guild quests and I played for over 200 hours but I felt like I forced myself through it because at the time I had no other game and I wasn't online.
Nowadays I would'nt bother with it at all as there are a lot better games out there especially if you're online.

I've spent over 350 hours in Warhawk so that is quite a long game too and Burnout Paradise can last ages as well.

COD4 will probably last longer because of the online play.

COD4 is longer. Uncharted is nicer.

A few more pros and cons for you:

Uncharted has Trophies while COD4 doesn't and probably never will have trophies.
COD4 has an excellent online while Uncharted has no online element whatsoever.
Both games have excellent stories and excellent graphics.
The offline campaign on both games can be beaten 100% within a couple days (but COD4 has online to keep you busy afterwards).

Aha ... i figure ill need COD since i am searching for great online lets hope *off topic* my Linksys WAG325N figures it out good since i have NEVER played any online game what ever was the console *yikes* ...

how about a third person shooter ?? or there isn't one ??
