yeah I already did all of that, and it still says that I need 23GB of space, but I guess it doesn't really matter anymore, I spread the data over 3 memory cards, & 2 mp3 players, if this doesn't work, I'll just redo all my gameplay data *sigh*

So your " love " for the PS3 is lowering? Why would you love a console in the first place?

Every PS3 has a problem? I'm nearing the year mark, and mine hasn't shown the slightest problem. I can only think that you're not taking proper care of it, BlazinFlaze. Or you've been unlucky.

I've had my PS3 for 16 months, and I've had a Blu-Ray optical drive break internally and had it fixed within a week. I wasn't happy about that, but the repair service was excellent and quick.

I've had mine since the end of May, 2007 and I've got my third one but the others mostly died from Human Error. AKA my Sticker Incident.

Well if you have these issues with the PS3 then technically speaking (NOT FANATICALLY) you ain't going to be any better off with a 360 if you get any ideas. Why? You'll experiance alot more data compression (etc) and if you are pushing your PS3 to the limit your bound to do the same with a 360.

And don't think a Wii gets any better. Though there are less media options you may still push it to the limit. Control your storage or get a PC.

Well you know why you hear it alot? Because you dont have people with working ps3's posting threads saying " my ps3 is working fine."

I have had my ps3 for a while w/ no probs, and 3 of my friends has had no problems.

I've taken care of my PS3 more than any of my other consoles, & its had the most problems, I didn't even play non-stop like I used to, I gave it healthy breaks and everything, I haven't even had mine for a year yet. It was isolated from congested spaces for good ventilation, and lack of dust collection, its just my luck, that despite how much I DID CARE for it, it still ends up breaking..... I know I'm not gonna be happier with an Xbox, and I already have a WII {which to this day has had no problems}

Myne broke but i didnt give a crap, cus now I got an 80GB free and still got 3 years on my warrenty. Besides keep your personal Love affair issues to yourself.

Mine is an 80GB, and you guys are making it seem like I'm married to my PS3, I used the word "love" to describe how much I like it, not to describe my intimate affection towards it, geesh.

my PS3 is making a weird clicking noise at random times, i think it may be reading the HDD, is it something to worry about? i really don't feel like sending my PS3 in a second time.

EDIT- when i had my first PS3, it never made any sounds like this one.

Lol, well, we did have one thread on here titled something like, "HELP!! MY PS3 IS PERFECTLY FINE!!!"

That was classic...

Anyway, I got mine a couple weeks after the PS3 first came out, and it still works perfectly fine.

You've probably just been unlucky.
