I'll start off by saying not a fan of it but said i'd let people know.
I heard that Final Fantasy will not come out in Europe till April 2010 and in Japan 2009. | |

I heard that Japan and the US are getting it for the PS3 first (y the 2009 release)then it will be out on the 360 and PS3 in other parts of the world in 2010.

It's been confirmed that a global release of FFXIII won't happen until April of 2010.

I'm not surprised. Considering they have to port the whole damn game to the 360 after they release it in Japan. Whatever, theres other good games coming out this year

I saw this thread eailer when i was on ps3,, i had a look on play.com they have date to be confirmed ... i was looking forward to this in march .. now it's april 2010 hmm long wait.

I was never into either of the upcoming FF's, so I don't care much. B'sides, we'll all be playing KZ2 anyway.

I still have the gut feeling that FFXIII wont sell as well as Squenix are anticipating. The port to 360 has upset a suprising amount of fans out there, but it's no biggy to me after i was disgusted with FF10 and FF12, meaning I wont be picking up a copy unless it's actually decent.

I guess I'm one of the only people whose looking forward to the game, and isn't phased by this news. I mean come on guys, you should have expected it. It was clear that Japan are getting it sometime this year (most likely in the latter half) and then when they make the XBOX360 version, that's when we'll get the PS3 version, and we all know that it's not going to be done in a matter of months, but a year or two. I expect this game to be released in 2011 at least in the EU since they've categorically stated that it wont be released in the US and EU at the same time, meaning we'll still have to wait for the game, and if the past is anything to go buy, we'll have to wait till 2011 or if we're lucky end of 2010.
For me, WKC is looking to be the "Final Fantasy Killer" in that it's actually looking like it has a good storyline to go with the good battle system (unlike FFXII which IMHO only had a good battle system). With that releasing this year, and it's sequel hopefully next year, we'll have plenty of games to keep us occupied till the eventual release of this game.  -------------------  | |
