Official Trophy Guides/FAQs |
|
For all you members that are eager to help fellow gamers and enjoy writing guides and FAQs I bring you the Official Trophy Guides thread.
Simply put together a guide for ANY Trophy enabled game and post it in this thread. Make it as professional as you want. Feel free to use Trophy images, fancy mark-up tags and whatever you feel is needed to make your guide look gooooooood. A couple rules are needed here though. Rule 1. Plagiarism is a big no no. DON'T simply copy and paste a guide from any other website. Write the guide 100% yourself. Anybody found breaking this rule will instantly have their guide removed. Rule 2. I want to keep this thread as clean as possible and dedicated to guides ONLY. You CAN however post feedback on guides but as soon as someone posts a new guide all the posts inbetween will be deleted so that the guides are all ordered on the first page. So again, feel free to post your feedback but don't get upset when your post eventually gets deleted. So go forth budding writers and show us what you can do. A few tips to help you on your way: _____________ GUIDE INDEX Retail Games: Dead Space By Mnmfan Fallout 3 By Shave ya Head Mercenaries 2 By Shave ya Head Skate 2 By G1LB3RT Wanted Weapons Of Fate By z fighter PSN Games: Worms By Mnmfan _________________ This message was edited by Mnmfan on May 26 2009. -------------------

![]() Worms Trophy Guide __________ Trophies: Bronze: 11 Silver: 2 Gold: 1 __________ Bronze Description: Deal 10,000 points cumulative damage to win this award! Explained: Each Worm has 100 hitpoints and there are usually at least 4 enemy Worms in a level, later levels have even more enemies. With the added Health crates on each level you will likely get this around your 10th or 15th game. Description: Complete all twenty single player challenges. Explained: Very straight forward and much easier then you might think. Only the last couple missions might give you trouble but with a little practice you'll get the trophy in no time. Worm positions aren't random either in the challenge levels so if you do fail just try a different tactic till eventually you succeed. Description: Complete all the tutorial challenges. Explained: This will likely be your first trophy. You can skip the Tutorials and go straight into the challenges but it is recommended you do the tutorial first as it does provide many useful tips. Description: Play a four player PlayStation®Network game. Explained: You will get this as soon as you enter a four player online game. It can be ranked or unranked.[/b] Description: Win any PlayStation®Network game using just the Grenade. Explained: This one can actually be very tricky and some players have had trouble with it. I had no trouble with it and got it on my first attempt. From my experience it's best to not have any pre-set mines in the level. It's ok to have them go off but if they kill the other player you won't get the trophy. For example if you use a grenade and the worm doesn't die and instead lands near a mine and then dies from it the trophy won't activate. Be the host and set up a game with no mines and you should get this. Silver Description: Deal 25,000 points cumulative damage to win this award! Explained: Just like the 10000 point trophy only longer. You will get it eventually through normal play. Description: Win a Ranked PlayStation®Network game in under 3 minutes. Explained: The hardest of all trophies by far. Some might even say it's impossible to do by just playing normally. 3 minutes is a very short time especially when you take into account the time it takes for crates to drop and players online to take their damn turn and stop jumping for no reason. You might have to resort to getting help for this trophy. The tactic I used was to enter a ranked game and then send the other player a message asking if he can help you get the trophy. You'll be surprised how many people are playing online JUST to get that trophy. 3 minutes later you should have the trophy.. just make sure you return the favour. Resorting to this tactic is cheap however I personally believe this trophy IS in fact impossible to get through normal play. Gold Description: Deal 50,000 points cumulative damage to win this award! Explained: Another difficult trophy.. if you're trying it the normal way. You'll beat all challenges and play online a lot looooong before you even come close to getting 50000 points of damage. By this time you'll be sick of Worms and just want to get it over and done with and out of the way. So the best and quickest way to get this is to cheat a little. Set up an offline 4 player multiplayer game with the max amount of worms and set it to 'pass the controller', in other words you just use one controller to play as all teams. When the game begins transport each Worm to the same location. Preferably a little alcove or somewhere confined. Once you have all the worms gathered in a small little area have one worm throw a Banana bomb. All 16 Worms will be killed and you'll get at least 1600 damage within 2 minutes (even more if you pick up some Health crates along the way). If you've played the game a bunch already then this tactic should only need to be repeated on average about 10 times for the trophy. Description: Kill Janice, Ex-Boss Explained Nice reference to the film, don't you think? Do get this, go to act 5. Climb the first staircase you come across, turn around and look at the level above you. She'll be hunched over a desk. If you can't see her, aim your weapon at the railing till the reticle becomes red, then shoot her. Description: Kill Kathy, ex-girlfriend Explained: Another refernce to the film. In act 1, after the first shooting sequence (shooting all those guys in slow motion) go up the stairs and continue till you come to a roof. To your right, a single enemy will come out a door, and to your left, there'll be a window. Go to it, and shoot Kathy through the window. Description: Kill 10 enemies using Curved Bullets. Explained: Should come pretty easy, just kill 10 enemies while curving the bullet. Try to aim for headshots. Description: Kill 10 enemies using Bullet Explosions Explained: In act 6, you get the Fire Eaters, which, instead of just curving bullets, shoots 6 at a time so that they converge at the opponent at explode. Should come pretty easy if you use the ability. Description: Kill 2 enemies at once with a single curved bullet Explained: See "Glad I wasn't there" Description Kill 3 enemies at once with a single curved bullet Explained Although you'll get a few chances during the story to kill several enemies using one curved bullet, the best place to do this is the in act 9, during fighting the Immortal. Periodically, 4 enemies with enter the room to serve as fodder for your gun. Kill the first lone enemy, then when the other 3 climb inside, line up the curve so that it passes through all 3, and you'll get the trophy. Description: Kill 3 enemies at once in a single eQM Explained: As said before, eQM stands for enhanced quick movements. While moving from cover to cover, you can either press X for regular movement, or triangle to go into a Matrix style slo-mo. The best place to do this, is again the place mentioned for the above trophy. When 2 enemies are fully inside the room, and the 3rd is climbing through the window, activate eQM and kill them all. Description: Kill 1 explosive rat Explained: See "Pest Exterminator" Description: Kill 15 enemies in close combat Explained: Another simple trophy. When you're close to an enemy, press O to have Wesley melee-kill him. Do this 15 times and the trophy is yours. Silver: Description: Complete Act 9 - Assassin Difficulty Explained: See "The Killer" Description: Kill all Explosive Rats Explained: Simply put, kill all the explosive rats in the game. There are 6 of these, one each in each of the chapters where you play as Wesley. They have a red glow, similar to mines, and are quite hard to miss, as they aren't exactly well hidden. IGN guides give a good description of the location of the rats. Description: Kill 100 enemies using Curved Bullets Explained: This should come naturally as you play the game. Simply use the curving mechanism often, aim for headshots. Description: Kill 80 enemies using Bullet Explosions Explained: You might not get this one in your first playthrough, and if you don't get it by the time you finish the other trophies, just replay act 6 to rack up kills. Aim for groups of enemies to take out several enemies in one go. Description: Kill Araña with Wesley without mask on The Killer Difficulty Explained: To unlock the "Wesley without mask" costume, go to the code screen from the main menu and enter "01000011". Then, go to unlocked acts, chose to play act 7 on The Killer difficulty as Wesley without mask, and kill Araña. Description: Kill The Immortal with Cross on The Killer Difficulty Explained: Same as Heartbreaker, except that you'll have to enter "01010100" to unlock the Cross costume, and kill The Immortal in act 9 on The Killer difficulty. Description: Kill The Russian with The Immortal in close combat and The Killer Difficulty Explained: Same as Heartbreaker, except that the Immortal costume will be unlocked the first time you kill him, and you'll have to kill the Russian in act 3 on The Killer difficulty. Description: Complete the game in "Close Combat Mode", any difficulty Explained: See "Catch me if you can" Description: Complete the game in "Headshot Mode", any difficulty Explained: See "Catch me if you can" Gold: Description: Complete Act 9 - The Killer Difficulty Explained: All these trophies are stackable- ie, if you beat an act on Assassin, you'll get the trophies for both Assassin and Pussy. However, The Killer difficulty is not unlocked from the start. So, the best way is to do your first playthrough on Normal, getting all the trophies you can, and unlocking The Killer simultaneously. The Killer is not hard at all, you'll just have to use cover efficiently. Or, if you want to finish it of quickly, theres a way to cheat- Use the following codes to unlock their respective effects: 01001100 Unlocks Health Improvement 01101101 Unlocks Infinite Adrenaline 01101111 Unlocks Infinite Ammo 01110010 Unlocks One Shot One Kill Note that if you activate the cheats during gameplay, trophies will be disabled. To glitch the game into giving you trophies: 1. When you start a new game on killer, play through the whole of act 1 normally. 2. On finishing act 1, exit to main menu, go to chapter select, chose act 1 on The Killer with the SAME costume. 3. When you get control, turn on whatever cheats you want from the pause menu. 4. A bug will appear in the upper left corner. Progress through the act till you reach the first checkpoint, at which point, the bug will disappear. 5. After the checkpoint is saved, switch on all cheats again and return to the main menu. 6. Chose to continue the game- you'll start off on act 2, with all cheats on, but trophies attainable. Description: 1st position in "Time Attack" Ranking Explained: To unlock these modes, you'll have to enter the following codes: 01100111 Headshot Mode 01100101 Unlocks Close Combat Mode Time attack is unlocked when you beat The Killer difficulty. Now, you can play through these modes and get the trophies legit. If you want to do that, good luck, since the game will get very boring, and the time for 1st position in time attack is 1hr 12 min, which is tough. To get them quick, 1. Start a new game with whatever difficulty, and any costume, picking the mode you want to go far. (Time attack has to be done on Killer, other 2 can be done on any difficulty) 2. Play to the first checkpoint in act 1. 3. After the game finished saving the checkpoint, exit to the main menu. 4. Go to unlocked acts, chose to play through act 9 on the SAME mode, SAME difficulty using the SAME costume you used in step 1, 2. 5. When you beat act 9, you'll get the trophy for that particular mode. VERY IMPORTANT NOTE: Sometimes, doing this glitch for the modes trophies disables the character trophies (kill xx with xx), so it is advisable to do them before these ones, or you'll have to delete your save data and start from scratch. Skate 2 Trophy Guide ![]() Here is a guide to all the trophies in Skate 2. Not that hard, and 100% is easily achievable. My only piece of advice is that the Trophies will come easy once you learn the in's and's out's of the game. Once you become better at the game, some of the trophies wont be so daunting. Bronze Trophies ![]() Perform an invert on one of the highest points in the city in career mode For this trophy, play through career mode and complete all Deathraces to unlock SV Peak. Once unlock, simply roll up to the halfpipe on SV Peak and hit R1 to invert. ![]() Get off your board in career mode Possibly the easiest trophy ever. Just hit triangle and get off your board. ![]() Move your first object in career mode Another really simple trophy, get off your board, walk up to any movable object, hold R1 and just move it for the trophy. ![]() Beat all of Danny Way's film challenges This one is quite tough, as if your new to the game his challenges are quite difficult. The key is to get to grips with the game and start learning the in's and out's of it, then you'll find these challenges quite easy. ![]() Win the GVR Contest This one isn't too hard, just takes a little while. Play through career mode and do all the street contests, once you have finished all you will be able to compete in the Goofy vs Regular competition. Win this event for the trophy. ![]() Win the San-Van-a-Slamma I had a hard time completing this one but as i said before, the more you practice and the learn the game the easier it is. The San-Van-a-Slamma is an Arena based event with massive ramps allowing you to pull off crazy tricks, the problem is landing. Once you learn the game, it's pretty easy. ![]() Win a Deathrace in career mode. Pretty simple. Deathraces are just downhill races through the city/mountains. They start of pretty easy so shouldn't be too hard. Just remember to use R2 on sharp bends, and try not to crash. ![]() Win all races in career mode. Pretty much the same as the one above, but note that they do get harder and the last race may take a while to win. ![]() Beat all the Rob Dyrdek Challenges. Quite tricky, but not overly hard. Its all about flair with Rob, so be sure to become accustomed to grinding and taunting at the same time. Only a few challenges to do, so stick at it and the trophy is yours. ![]() Meet Slappy Story based trophy, you get it within the first 5 minutes of playing. ![]() Call Mikey 10 times. The new company Mongocorp have been set-up to stop skaters around San Van, and have put up metal stubs all around the city on skateable objects. Once you do a couple of challenges for Slappy, you will meet Mikey. Mikey will uncap the stubs for you for a small fee. Just skate around and find 10 stubs, call him up to uncap them and the trophy is yours. ![]() Drain every pool and fountain in career mode There are many pools scattered around San Van, 10 if im not mistaken. After a good few challenges, you will meet Sammy. Whenever you stumble across a pool, call her up and she will drain it for you making it skateable. There are indicators on the map as to where to find the pools so its easy. ![]() Purchase all property in career mode. You will get this trophy towards the end of the game. There's only 2 properties available, one cost's $50,000 and the other is $200,000. Its just a matter of making money, but dont sweat, making money is really easy. ![]() Obtain all Sponsorships. This is a story related trophy. For a specific set of challenges, once completed you will be sponsored by a company of your choice. Basically keep playing the game until your fully sponsored. ![]() Upload a created spot Really easy. Just jump off your board and start moving rails, ramps, kickers or anything you an find to create your spot. Then go through the instructions to upload it. You don't have to put and effort in if you dont want to, you could just select a stair-set as your spot and the trophy is yours. ![]() Rate 10 community videos and photos Really simple. Go onto Skate Reel, and just watch and rate 10 videos or photos. ![]() Win an online ranked match This one can be pretty tricky, but like iv'e stated, once you get good this trophy will be easy. Go online, find a game mode you like, and just play until you win. ![]() Achieve Amateur rank online Skate 2 has a leveling system online. You get XP for winning or coming 2nd,3rd in an event. If you win an event you will noramlly get around 21 XP points. Find one game mode your good at and keep playing it. Once you hit 100 XP for that particular game type you will get a bronze badge in that game mode, and receive your Amateur Rank. ![]() Add a custom graphic to your skater Quite easy actually. Head on to there site and follow the instructions to make a graphic. Once made upload it to your account, and then Go to 'Edit Skater', and add your graphic to the 'Custom T-shirt, Hat or Deck' ![]() Download and own a community-created spot Quite simple. download a created spot, and beat the current score achieved on that spot. ![]() Win the Skater's choice award in an online ranked match This one is actually really annoying, unless you have some honest players online. Play a game mode, such as 'Best Trick' or 'Hall of Meat' where, each player takes it in turn to try and get the best score. While watching another person, there is a voting system. All you have to do is try and get other online users to vote for you. Some users vote honestly, some vote against you if your the best and some don't vote at all. ![]() Wipeout at high speed in career mode Pretty simple. Find a hill, and skate down it and try get high speed, then do the 'automatic bail'(R3+L3+L2+R2) or roll into a curb. ![]() Skitch for 1000 meters or 3000 feet in career mode In this trophy, you don't have to skitch consecutively for 1000 meters, so skitch for as long as you at a time. If you can do it for 1000 meters cool, but if not don't worry. ![]() Use Big Blacks services 10 times. Once you get to a certain point in the career, you will unlock Big Black. When skating in Mongocorp areas, the security guards will try and get you, but if you call Big Black, he will take care of them. Ring him 10 times. ![]() Escape a chase off board in career mode Skate through a mongocorp zone and attract some attention from the guards. Now its quite easy, the guards will usually stop chasing you when you reach the road, so jump off your board as you reach the road, and escape on foot. ![]() Spend 30mins moving objects in career mode Self-explanatory. Long as hell, but if you don't think about it, you'll probably have done it by the time you complete the game. ![]() Knock down a security guard chasing another skater in career mode I done this completely by accident, and still think its quite tricky. There is a challenge called '3 epic rails' where you have to grind 3 rails, with another pro skater, while a guard chases you both. If accidentally fell into the guard, getting me the trophy. This is the best place to do the challenge so id wait for this mission. You can replay challenges so if you don't do it first time, you can have as many go's as it takes. ![]() Maintain Top Speed for 5 seconds in career mode Pretty simple. Go find a hill, and reach maximum speed without crashing for 5 seconds. ![]() Break at least 15 bones in a single wipeout in career mode Go find a high point in the map. Preferably Muderhorn/Top of the E. Just jump off and activate the Hall of Meat by the Auto Bail, and try and break 15 bones. ![]() Change your skater's gender Simply change the gender of your skater in the 'Edit Skater' menu. I don't think you even have to go and skate, just, change, and change back. ![]() Perform one grass gap of at least 10 meters or 30 feet in career mode I think the easiest place to do this is 'Fun Track' and the first ramp gap is a grass gap, you should clear it pretty easy. ![]() Perform one stair gap of at least 12 meters or 36 feet in career mode This one is really quite tricky. There's no real way of explain it so im gonna link a video. Linkcredit to whoever made the video. ![]() Break 100 bones in career mode Simple, accumulate 100 broken bones. ![]() Complete your first online freeskate activity with your created skater Pretty simple, go online and enter freeskate and initiate a freskate activity. Dead Space Trophy Guide 42 Bronze 4 Silver 3 Gold 1 ![]() __________________ Bronze Discription: Complete Chapter 1 on any setting Explained: Pretty self explanatory really. The first Chapter is quite easy and shouldn't take more then half an hour. Discription: Complete Chapter 2 on any setting Explained: Beat the second Chapter. Trophy unlocks when you enter the tram. Discription: Complete Chapter 3 on any setting Explained: Beat the third Chapter. Trophy unlocks when you enter the tram. Discription: Complete Chapter 4 on any setting Explained: Beat the fourth Chapter. Trophy unlocks when you enter the tram. Discription: Complete Chapter 5 on any setting Explained: Beat the fifth Chapter. Trophy unlocks when you enter the tram. Discription: Complete Chapter 6 on any setting Explained: Beat the sixth Chapter. Trophy unlocks when you enter the tram. Discription: Complete Chapter 7 on any setting Explained: Beat the seventh Chapter. Trophy unlocks when you enter the tram. Discription: Complete Chapter 8 on any setting Explained: Beat the eighth Chapter. Trophy unlocks when you enter the tram. Discription: Complete Chapter 9 on any setting Explained: Beat the ninth Chapter. Trophy unlocks when you enter the tram. Discription: Complete Chapter 10 on any setting Explained: Beat the tenth Chapter. Trophy unlocks when you enter the tram. Discription: Complete Chapter 11 on any setting Explained: Beat the eleventh Chapter. Trophy unlocks when you enter the shuttle. Discription: Complete Chapter 12 on any setting Explained: Beat the twelvth Chapter. Trophy unlocks when you enter the shuttle. ___ Discription: Store 25 Items in the Safe Explained: Pretty easy. Move 25 items from your inventory to the Safe. If you're in a hurry for the trophy you can simply move everything over to the Safe to get the trophy and then move everything back to your inventory again. However you'll likely get this by just playing the game normally. Discription: Collect 75 Logs Explained: Logs include Text logs, Video Logs and Audio logs. Dead Space is pretty linear and there are not a lot of multiple path areas so it'll be very hard to miss most of the logs unless you're playing blindfolded. I got this at the beginning of Chapter 4. Discription: Complete Level 6 in Zero-G Basketball Explained: This is a mini-game in Chapter 10 that you literally can not miss as one of the Nav Key Cards is located in this basketball court. The idea of this game is to Zero-G jump to each of the lit platforms to increase your multiplier and then use kinesis on the ball and shoot it into one of the 4 holes. The next difficulty level is unlocked when you get 20 points. The easiest way to do this however is to just stand on any platform and catch the ball as it exits and shoot it straight back in. You won't get a multiplier but with 1 minute on the clock it's quite easy to shoot the ball straight back into the goal 20 times in a row. On the later levels you might be a bit short on time doing this trick so you might want to get a multiplier first. Discription: Collect 8 Schematics Explained: Very easy as 8 schematics is not even half of the total schematics in the game. You will likely get this at around Chapter 5. Discription: TK shoot 50 Objects Explained: You can get this as soon as you get the Kinesis Module by just shooting every object you find. You don't need to shoot it at an enemy and you can shoot the same object 50 times if you're in a rush for the trophy. However you will get this by just playing the game normally. Discription: Dismember 20 Limbs Explained: This WILL be your very first trophy. Simply dismember limbs of the enemies using either your weapon or by stomping on their limbs to remove them. Gruesome, sick but oooooooh so satisfying. Discription: Dismember 500 Limbs Explained: Yet again use the same tactic as above. Every enemy has 5 limbs (yes the head counts as a limb) so dismembering 100 enemies shouldn't take too long. I believe I got this by Chapter 5. Discription: Use Stasis on 50 Enemies Explained: To get this quicker the best enemies to use stasis on are those groups of small little 3 legged creatures simply because they stay in large groups and are easy targets. Of course use stasis on as many enemies as you can and you should get this pretty soon. Discription: Achieve a perfect score in the Shooting Gallery. Explained: The shooting gallery is a mini-game in Chapter 9. It's in a little room right next to a BENCH. The best gun for this is the Plasma Cutter with horizontal spray. Shoot the red targets and avoid the blue targets. There are only 5 levels to this and the 5th is tricky but with a bit of practice you should get it witin no time. Just like Zero G Basketball you will get a Power Node for beating the last level. Discription: Zero G Jump over 100 Times Explained: This is yet another trophy that you will get without even trying. Every Chapter has at least one Zero-G area. I got this trophy during Zero G Basketball in Chapter 10. Discription: Kill at least 30 enemies using melee Explained: This one is actually harder then it sounds. Melee in this game is pretty weak and feels like it's having no effect. Yet again the best enemies to use this on are the small swarms of 3 legged creatures. Just stasis them and dance on them. Discription: Force an enemy into a Gravity Panel 5 times. Explained: The first opporatunity for this is in Chapter 3. You will come across broken floor panels which kills anything that steps on it. Simply stasis an enemy and push it into a panel 5 times for the trophy. Don't worry if you didn't get the trophy on Chapter 3. There are other areas with gravity panels throughout the game. Discription: Spend 200,000 Credits at the Store. Explained: Very simple and you will get it by just playing the game normally. Don't spend money for no reason just for this trophy. You will need all the money you can get for the Power Nodes. Discription: Kill 30 Enemies with the Contact Beam Explained: No explanation needed here really. Just kill 30 enemies with this specific weapon. Discription: Kill 30 Enemies with the Ripper Explained: No explanation needed here really. Just kill 30 enemies with this specific weapon. Discription: Kill 30 Enemies with the Plasma Cutter Explained: No explanation needed here really. Just kill 30 enemies with this specific weapon. Discription: Kill 30 Enemies with the Force Gun Explained: No explanation needed here really. Just kill 30 enemies with this specific weapon. Discription: Kill 30 Enemies with the Flamethrower Explained: No explanation needed here really. Just kill 30 enemies with this specific weapon. Discription: Kill 30 Enemies with the Pulse Rifle Explained: No explanation needed here really. Just kill 30 enemies with this specific weapon. Discription: Kill 30 Enemies with the Line Gun Explained: No explanation needed here really. Just kill 30 enemies with this specific weapon. Discription: Find The Peng Treasure Explained: The Peng Treasure is a small little statue that can be collected on Chapter 11. In the last area where you need to move the Marker onto the ship go up onto the walkway and look inbetween the 2 walkways in the gutter. The treasure is about halfway down the walkway over the railing. It was there in Chapter 1 too but you couldn't get it because you didn't have the Kinisis ability. Silver Discription: Beat the game on any difficulty setting Explained: No explanation needed here really. The trophy unlocks when the credits start to roll. Discription: Collect 150 Logs Explained: See 'Story Teller' for additional info. 150 logs is still not all the logs in the game so don't worry if you've missed any. Remember that you can check the logs you've collected through the in-game menu. Discription: Own every weapon in the game. Explained: There are 7 weapons in total. Most of them are between 7000 and 10000 credits. You can hold off until the very end to buy the remaining weapons if you want but remember that your inventory carries over to your next playthrough (only if it's the same difficulty) so you can still start again and use the 50000 credits that you get for beating the game to buy the last few weapons if you still haven't got them all by the end. Discription: Dismember 1000 Limbs Explained: Dead Space is all about dismembering limbs. Not only is it encouraged but for some enemies it's nessasary. If you go through the game normally you should get this by the last chapter however if you didn't get it then don't worry because the trophy is cumalative and does carry over to your next playthrough provided it's the same difficulty. Gold Discription: Upgrade All Weapons and Equipment Explained: This trophy is impossible to get on one playthrough simply because there aren't enough power nodes to assign to all the weapons and equipment throughout the game. Your inventory carries over to your next playthrough but ONLY if you repeat the same difficulty. So for example if you beat the game on Normal you will need to load your cleared game save file and continue a new game on Normal again. You cannot choose a different difficulty with your inventory intact. Just make sure you spend every spare credit on Power Nodes. Also DON'T sell any of your weapons thinking that you can simply upgrade a weapon to the max, sell it and then buy 10 more Power Nodes. That does NOT work. You need to OWN all weapons to unlock this trophy. I got this trophy at Chapter 9 on my second playthrough. Discription: Beat the game using only the Plasma Cutter. Explained: This is actually much easier then you might think. The Plasma Cutter is a very good weapon once upgraded to the max and ammo for it is plentiful in all Chapters. Also you CAN still buy other weapons but make sure you don't shoot any of them. Discription: Beat the game on the Hardest difficulty Explained: This is the hardest trophy in the game and will likely be your last trophy. The hardest difficulty is called Impossible and is unlocked if you beat the game on Normal. However a glitch in the game means that if you beat Normal and then turn off the PS3, when you come back to the game Impossible difficulty won't be available. So make sure you jump straight into Impossible mode and save at the first Save point. Also create a seperate save just before the final boss on Normal just in case. As for the difficulty itself. Yes it is difficult. Especially if you're unprepared. A few tips I can give are: - Only use 2 weapons throughout the game. If you use more weapons you will be sharing the Power Nodes through so many different weapons that it'll take too long to get them all upgraded to a decent level. - I used the Plasma Cutter and the Line Gun for a couple reasons. The Plasma Cutter seems to have the most ammo collections throughout the game and ammo for it is cheap in the Store. I used the Line Gun because it can cut off 2 limbs with one shot and also because the Alternate Fire fires a mine which was very usefull for those pesky swarms of small 3 legged creatures (they can do a lot of damage on Impossible). - Use Stasis whenever you can. Check your map to see if you are near a Stasis Recharge station. If you are then you know that you can use stasis as much as you want because you can recharge it soon. - Search everywhere. You might be inclined to just run through the chapters to get it done asap but it's a much better idea to search every room. You'll find plenty of ammo and Power Nodes off the beaten track which will help you later. - Have a stockpile. If you have a lot of ammo for a certain gun don't keep it all in your inventory. Move spare clips of ammo to the Safe because later bosses require a lot of ammo and there's nothing worse then running out of ammo. - Finally. if you're really desperate for the trophy you can gain an advantage by downloading a Level 5 suit from the PS Store. The Tank Suit for example will give you 60% armor which makes the game a lot easier. ______________ Secret Trophies ________________ Platinum Discription: Collect All Trophies Explained: Well Done. By the time you get Platinum you will have played at LEAST 2 and a half playthroughs. Platinum well deserved I'd say. No offence Vapour but do you plan on editing your guides to add better explanations? It looks like you've just copied the trophy requirements and occassionally added a 'generic' sentence to it here and there. Some of which are wrong.

No offence taken. Considering that Sony has made these trophys, and hasn't copied the achievements from 3rd party games, these trophys are alot easier to acquire. There is really little you can add that'll help when going for these that other people haven't wrote into a neoseeker help guide. By me linking them to neoseekers help guides, written by fello seekers, i'm encouraging other members to look and use these help guide sections. Spreading the love around, but enough about me.
If you wish you can recopy them and edit them under your own name with your personal thoughts on getting these trophys or you can delete them. Ether way is fine with me. No attitude is being given in this post. -------------------

Vapour Snake, I know this is not my place, but I would recommend that with trophies that can only be done after certain missions, you say which mission.
Electric Hobo for example, you should say that you have to complete the mission Train Ride before attempting this. BTW, Mnm, I plan on writing a trophy guide soon. -------------------

I'm currently working on a FAQ/Guide for Unreal Tournament III, which also happens to be the first one that I'll actually finish. It doesn't have any of the fancy trophy pictures, but it is shaping up to be a very detailed and in depth guide. I should have Version 1.0 submitted to Neoseeker within a few hours or so.
