Both Prototype and Fallout 3 are great games.I would recomend F3 over Prototype.

If you get F3, wait till October where you will be able to buy the GOTY edition with all the DLC on teh disc.

Is the GOTY edition coming to PS3 as well? I thought 360 had that exclusively?

Yep PS3 will now be gettng it in Oct.Though considering this is Bethsoft we are talking about, I wouldn't get too excited just yet.

Hey guys! My parents offered me a free game and to my surprise, I didn't have a clue what to get. I have Grand Theft Auto IV and Call of Duty: World at War already. I also had Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare on PS3 and loved it. I have Prototype and Burnout: Paradise on PC already but I can't play the latter online. So if you think Burnout: Paradise is worth it for online only suggest it anyway. As for Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots, I played the demo and found the gameplay to be mediocre and the presentation to suck ass. I played Killzone 2 demo and found the controls to be too heavy, the aiming has to sort of accelerate to get going, and I also found the dark atmosphere to be unappealing. Plus Mnmfan told me that "it's crap and nothing compared to Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare". So what games are left? I need good games, not ones like Prototype where you play it for 15 minutes a day just for fun then get fed up. Games I don't like are unrealistic sci-fi games like Unreal Tournament and boring ultra-realistic racing games like Gran Turismo. I have been looking for a good horror game for ages now and found nothing equal or better than Resident Evil 4. Not even the sequel, Resident Evil 5. I found the Dead Space and Bioshock demos to be so boring I didn't even bother to finish them. I'm waiting for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 and God of War III but I need something quickly for the summer. I am not easily amused so the game really has to be good.

Games which I do like are:

• Grand Theft Auto games
• God of War games
• Hitman games
• and Call of Duty games

If there are no games which interest me, I'll happily get Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare again, even though I have it on PC and played it for weeks on the PS3 already.

I know you said you tried Killzone and found the aiming too heavy, but I reccomend you rent it, as they have patched the sensitivity adding 'high precision mode'. Which is akin to CoD sensitivity 8.

That made me consider the game. I shall ask around.

Yeah when you asked me about KZ2 over PSN I had just played a terrible match online (I sucked) and I was pretty frustrated so maybe take my answer with a pinch of salt. You couldn't have asked at a worst moment. lol

When I first bought KZ2 (at launch) I hated it. I would play for half an hour and just get bored and then quit game. Everyone on Neo was praising it so I kept going back to it thinking 'It'll grow on me, I just need to give it a chance'. But it never did.

Last week I was bored so decided to give it another try because I hated seeing my trophy percentage at 6% for KZ2. I pushed forth and finally beat the campaign then went online.
It has grown on me now in all honesty. The offline campaign sucked imo and online is nothing special but I've gotten addicted to getting those Ribbons.
It's still nowhere near as good as COD4 imo but it's not as bad as I made it sound in that message.

Haha I suspected that was the case.

But that still doesn't answer my question, sorry. from what I described, do you think I should get Killzone 2 or go for another game? is there another game better than Killzone 2 I should go for? Someone recommended Saints Row 2... would it be a good option?

Any good fighting games for the PS3? I have nothing in my library and I'm getting really bored of FPS games. I don't care for sport fighting games (like UFC and Fight Night). I played Street Fighter 4 at my friend's house and it felt like Street Fighter 2. I need something new!
