I hope that's photoshopped. It doesn't seem professional of Insomniac, and i hope it doesn' take place in America. It just wouldn't fit with the story.

I have my mixed opinions of Resistance 2, but the level were your walking through Middle America through the suburbs fighting off hoards of those Zombie things, is one of my favourite levels in any game.

Is it not fairly obvious that the third game will be in Russia.

Those bringing up New York. Just because it's in the title imagery doesn't mean we go there. Nathan Hale at the end of the 2nd was summoning some kind of evil and in tradition whenever the alien race gets super angry they blow up New York. The story could focus around New York getting absolutely owned we don't have to play there to see that.

But yeah, i'm not sure where the game will take place i mean. for one, the US is losing the battle im pretty sure. and yet there still shooting out that Spector Team and helping out the British? what's up with the British now? have the liberated most of Euroupe? if so then possibly the third would be in Russia and you're a British soldier. maybe the one the helped Nathan in the first one? and he did end up surviving?

No, their new studio is working on a new project while their old studio alternates between R&C and Resistance. They can do that because their first studio has a lot of people in there

Hmm, the more I think about the more I think insomniac will give us a choice on how to play the game, even how to end the story.

Hear me out, at the end it pretty much looked like Hale would be the chimera hybrid that would destroy the human race. So we can conclude that he joined the dark side. Or is on the fence of joining. So what if insomniac pulls a inFamous and allows to effect the outcome of the game, story wise.

Hale is internally fighting the chimera inside, so he can save the world. Or he can embrace it and destroy it. I mean I personally think this would a brilliant way to end the series. Having two different endings.
