	So I'm ~~finally~~ getting an HDTV sometime this week. First, is Vizio a good brand? And second, does blu-ray play well in a 26 inch HDTV that is supposedly 720P? Like will I be able to tell the difference from a DVD? Or will I be able to tell the difference only if it's a 32+ inches and 1080P? I'm thinking of getting a Samsung but I heard good things about Vizio. Also, I'm getting a 26 inch. Nothing more since I'll be using it for my bedroom.

	Vizio is middle tier at best, so it doesnt touch Sony or Samsung. you will be able to tell somewhat. 1080p isnt really noticeable above 720 until you get past the 40" size mark. it will look better than a DVD definitely, those are only 480 res. -------------------

I have 1080p because my HDTV is 52 inches.

	Alright, so I just found a Phillips 32 inches for $400 and a 26 inches Samsung for $390. I think I'll be getting the Phillips but is it a top tier brand like Samsung and Sony? no, Phillips is pretty much high-middle tier. its inbetween the Sony/Samsung tier and Vizio tier. they are pretty good but not top quality. if you already decided on getting a 26" for space reasons or whatever, that Samsung at $390 is a really good deal. but if you can fit a 32", then definitely for $10 more, for sure get the Phillips. -------------------

	32" isn't as big as it seems. 26" Is quite small. I do suggest a 32". ------------------- ~ ~
