I've seen that too. Was it in 4-player item mode? If so, I think it's an item. I never had that item so I'm not sure.

Ya it was 4 player battle and it wasn't an iteam because the instruction booklet says all the iteams and that wasn't one of them.

Maybe it's a secret item? I have no clue. It's really pathetic to cheat in a Tetris game, when the whole point is to see who has better strategy. The last time I checked, cheating wasn't a strategy.

I've seen that too, but I think it's just Wi-Fi lag. Because every time I see it, the piece suddenly appears somewhere else. Basically, the system doesn't know what they did with the piece after that point, so it stays there on your screen until all the data is collected and sent to you.

So lag can help you? It just seemed natural because whenever it did happen the person's block would break, giving them a Tetris, which annoys me.

No, everything is happening in real-time (on that player's screen at least), it just takes a little longer for you to receive their data and you end up not seeing what they're doing temporarily.

You can, but only the one block when it makes contact with others. When blocks appear to float and others go through them, it's just WiFi lag.

There are actually some Tetris DS hackers online. But most of them play in 4 player matches since you get more points from winning.

How do you hack on the DS :-s

There are some videos on youtube showing some hackers. There is one particular hack that gives the player only 'I' shapes. It isn't an item for sure because it lasted for minutes without any other type of block appearing.

However I have no idea how this is done. I'm not much of a hacker myself.
