re: General Q&A

I reckon that there are some bits that are better in different games. In my opinion, saber duelling is better in JA
a) because you get duel + double sabers with there own moves
b) the attacks are better
c) it looks more like the real duelling(I say real, i meAn in the movies). However, the opponents are a lot easier to beat in JA, even the Jedi Master bots.

The campaign missions were FAR too easy, especially the duelling. Allthough it was a lot of fun 1st time round, it really needs to be made harder.

And finally, as Raijin said, the storyline wasn't that well put together. You run around force pushing and pulling stones and then you go straight out into missions. I was expecting in-depth training (not that i need it, but for the atmosphere) and the chance to duel friends/allies for practice.

BTW Raijin, there is a Sith species out that lets you customise a Sith as your character, have a look at lucasfiles.com

re: General Q&A

Sith species? Coolness! Know any places that have other body parts and clothes to download? Selection is kinda...limited....

Anyhow, right now i'm just fuggin' around with this game, and already made a mod for it that adds more bots to offline playing arsenals. It adds one human jedi female and male student using create a jedi parts, one zabrak female, one keldor male, one rodian male, and one twilek female. It's all randomly generated, i haven't figured out how to control which body parts are selected, but at least there are a few 'student' bots to add to the game. It only makes sense right?

I submitted it to jk2files.com a few days ago, and will provide a link to the file if they decide to host it. Real small download.

I remember seeing some other body parts out somewhere but can't remember where they are now. I will have another look for them and tell you what I find. And yes the Sith species all look like darth maul except you can change the color and pattern of his face, and of course his clothes.

re: General Q&A

Firstly, make sure you have the right MOD, mine is called : maul_race.pk3.

Next, each body part has a letter. The first Maul design (head, torso AND legs) is called a. The second (the real Maul I think) is b etc. Here are the lists of the names if you want the BODY, TORSO AND LEGS of the same design:

jedi_maul/head_a1|torso_a1|lower_a1
jedi_maul/head_b1|torso_b1|lower_b1
jedi_maul/head_c1|torso_c1|lower_c1
jedi_maul/head_d1|torso_d1|lower_d1
jedi_maul/head_e1|torso_e1|lower_e1
jedi_maul/head_f1|torso_f1|lower_f1
jedi_maul/head_g1|torso_g1|lower_g1
jedi_maul/head_h1|torso_h1|lower_h1
jedi_maul/head_i1|torso_i1|lower_i1
jedi_maul/head_j1|torso_j1|lower_j1

Just change the letter a-j to change the design. I do not know why the number 1 is their, but it is needed.

DAM, I'm doing it again. I use this MOD in JA so I am not sure if it works in JO. If you can play as one of the skins, this should work.

re: General Q&A

Hi Nightslayer, I don't actually own the game but police the forums so I can't help you but please feel free to ask your question in a new forum thread. The whole forum is here for questions and discussion about the game so it's pointless to put all the question into a General Q&A thread. It's with this idea that General Q&A threads are no longer allowed across the sites forums, they go against the idea of an open, helpful forum and one that doesn't restrict discussion. Hope you can see the idea behind outlawing General Help threads. Once again though, please don't be hesitant to ask your question in a new thread. Sorry for inconveniancing you!
