re: Master Jedi

play with bots on the intiate level. (i think that's the weakest level)

gun training and force training come last, so start a map, with as many bots as your computer can hold without slowdown...particularly, Luke, Desann, Kyle, Tavion, Shadowtrooper, and then whoever. The above had unique botfiles that make their attacks represent the type of fighter they are, for instance, Luke fights defensively usually, on the medium saber mode, while Desann fights aggresively, on the Red saber mode.

Start the match with force off, and only lightsabers as weps. Switch to redsaber.

Run at an enemy, and learn the timing of the sword slash. It's powerful, and takes 1-3 good hits to down an opponent with full HP and Sheilds maxed. When you attack, you lie open to attack yourself. Practice circling, and hovering around the enemy while the sword is up in the air, and then practice closing in on the enemy right as the sword swings to strike. You should be able to hold your own in a while, against other RED Sword fighters.

After that, switch the Blue mode. All these attacks are quick, and can be easily deflected by yellow and red modes. The advantage is that once it is deflected, you are not stunned usually, and you can attack from another angle if you wish. Combine the hover/circling method from RED mode, but now practice rolling back and forth, jumping over enemies, jump attacks, and rolling attacks. It takes longer to kill any opponent with Blue mode, but it's the safest, as it allows full movement around the environs. When using Red saber mode, when you attack, your pace stays at a slower constant, but in blue mode, it's pretty much the same.

After taking out 20 or so enemies in blue mode, without dying once, switch to yellow mode. This mode can be deflected by blue and red mode, but allows for reprisals by clicking the mouse button the second you are deflected. Not as strong as RED mode, but not as slow as Red either. You can use the movement techniques from Blue mode here too, but when attacking, you do slow down a bit, and the range isnt long, like RED mode's, so you'll have to get in closer than the norm for these attacks. Once mastered, it's practically the same as blue fighting mode.

Fighting with guns- all i can say here, is dont stop moving, and if moving in one direction and being fired upon, move the other way, then the other, switching to dodge predicted fire areas.

Also, when firing at an enemy with any weapon other than the sniper rifle, shoot in front of the enemy, as the lasers take time to reach their mark, you'll have to fire ahead, so to speak. If you have a rapid fire weapon, shoot in the general area the enemy is walking towards.

Force- specialize in just a few, not all. Use a combo of 2 or 3 force powers, and stick with them. In the heat of battle, reaching for the F' keys can make you a dead player.
I use force grip, force lightning, and drain, which i assigned as Z, X, and C, for easy access. Saber Toss, Push, and Pull aren't needed if you have maxed grip. Lightning can hurt multiple enemies, and Drain can heal you, while making sure the enemy can only use weapons. Drain and lightning make a good combo, if you know how to ration your own force meter.

Grip is also good to use with a maxed out jump skill.
Grab an opponent, hold them as high into the air as you can, hold them there, and jump. At the highest point of the jump, toss the enemy to the left or the right. The altitude drop will usually instantly kill anybody. Also, in levels with bridges, and death by falling is everywhere, grip can take out anybody. Just point on them, drag them left or right, and let go. In less than 2 seconds, you can slay anybot who isnt fast enough to use force push and remove your grip from them.

re: Master Jedi

well, i was playing the game at master jedi, and i learned the best style is blue, simply because of the crouching stab thing, i took dessan down in 3 hits and didnt even get hurt, except from his lightning, blue is good for defense too, so if you want, use a few throws of your saber to weaken the guy your fighting, then start doing manuevers like backflips and foward flip slash attacks.

another thing you can do is get force push and force grip bound to some key you can reach really easy. the reason is that i found the best way to kill the reborn, dessan, his padiwan, and shadowtroopers, is to just push them down, run up on them, slash them once, then use force grip to fling them into the wall. If you cant fling them, just use force grip to get them in the air, and force push them again, run up and slash and they'll die.

the last thing you could do is a little force pull/red style combo, throw your saber at the person your fighting, then use force pull on them, by the time they get to you, you should have your saber in your hand again, then, while they are right in front of you, hit'em with a hard cut, then strafe away FAST.

if none of this works, just go with yellow style and force heal, try to get into saber locks with the guy your fighting, then keep pressing the fire button, if you win, you'll knock them to the ground, slash them and repeat.

i tried damn near everything cause i LOVE the "dance" that you perform with a saber, and all 4 of those techniques worked

btw, most of these techniques worked in MP battles too

Now guns... well, guns are ALOT harder then a saber, but, what i have found is that the only actual weapons that proved of any use were the repeater and the e-11, simply because they fire so fast, if you lead the guy your shooting at, your gonna hit him sooner or later. plus, the repeater has the concussion launcher, so, if you cant manage to nail them with regular shots, try to blast thier feet out from under them
