Jedi Mod problems and questions

Okay, i got a few simple questions.

First off, I got jedimod a long time ago...i forget what version, but, the file itself is a mess. It's a zip file with folders in folders, that kinda deally-o.

Anyhow, I know jedi mod goes into the base folder, but inside the zip, jedi mod has a base folder of its own. Is this supposed to stay inside jedimod, or is it just a crap copy that the maker left in there like a doof?

I removed it last night, and everything was the same as normal. I guess it can load the original base files contents, without having to use its own, but i'm not quite sure if that will have unforseen negative effects, so i'm askin'.

the other problem, is that when i play jedimod, every 30 seconds or so, my character gets pushed, like somebody uses forcegrip for like, half a second. It bugs the hell out of me when I play, cus i usally play multiplayer deathmatch in the narshaada streets level, and its a pain walking on those narrow platforms, always getting pushed by nothing. Mind you, i play with all weapons off, and the force turned off, so everyone just uses sabers.

And its really irritating, cuz i just spent a lot of time using the tck script in the botfiles, even for custom bots, to give everyone custom colored lightsabers, and also dualsabers were made as an extra bot for some characters, like Darth Maul, Luke, Vader, Jedi Trainer, etc...

So anybody know about fixing the 'base' problem, and that damn 'invisible pushing' problem?

re: Jedi Mod problems and questions

I wouldn't even use those mod things.I would use forcemod because it allows level 4 force powers which it works perfectly.

It should open it's own little file and yeah thats where it belongs. Then you load it up.

Forcemod isn't popular (Don't know why) but level 4 forcepowers and jetpack options (Like fuel and stuff) and making the game fair, I think it's the best mod I found for things like that.It also has that option thing for controlling people who join.

re: Jedi Mod problems and questions

Hmmm..I dont really like using the force. The AI is never up to par, and I dont have DSL, so i wont think about server warfare.

I use jedimod for small models and custom models i altered, so they appear right to size. On top of that, I can use gundams, and make them all gigantic. Super fun that way, but anyhow. My questions still stand. It's real darn annoying. This jumping/pushing problem in particular.
