I'm pretty sure I'm not the only one who can't beat these, at least I hope. For instance, Speed Golf 1 requires 4:00 for a bronze trophy, and I swear I spend at least 4 minutes running to the stupid ball! Does anyone have any tips or tricks or anything to help? This is the only thing in the game I can't do!

Speaking as an expert on the PS2 version of Tiger Woods 2002, I have to say the speed golf scenarios are terribly programmed! I have managed 100% completion of all other areas of the game (yep, golds in all other scenarios too!) but the speed golf challenges are just beyond me! I have silvers in all 3 but cannot see a way of ever getting the gold, especially in Speed Challenge 1! Just gonna give up and get Tiger Woods 2004 now, but this is such a pity that I could not complete this game because of 3 badly designed scenarios!

My tip for speed golf would be to be ready as your ball lands near the green. When it lands, immediatley push forward on the direction pad (not the analogue one, the "old" one) in order to make your put stronger so it will go past the whole. Hit your put, and as it is about to speed past the whole, press "X" and it will stop dead next to the whole. Then you just need to tap in.

Not much of a tip, but this is as good as it gets for this crap part of the game! BAN SPEED GOLF!! LOL!!
