this game was pretty awesome
but the first few were pretty bad
only renegade and generals are good

Dude you're nuts, the first games are the best ones. I guess it all depends on what sort of RTS gamer you are.

If you watch the interviews you will see the head of Westwood saying that they do hope to make more C&C games, and they specifically called it "The FIRST Decade" because they plan on going on with the series for more years to come.

The name "The First Decade" is because there are 12 best c&c games for last TEN YEARS.
"The Second Decade" will be maybe for next 10 years

i hope they do keep making games for another 10 years and all the games are just as good.

So its safe to say: C&C The Second Decade out fall 2017

Anyone remember when the first Command & Conquer was first released? All those countless nights i played it... Wow...

Oh, the memories...

yeah first decade is the name for the collection, and many ppl are divided among which games are better...

some like the new, while others old...
some like tiberium, others prefer red alert..

it's all a matter of opinion..

what i love the best is the story, specialy if you paid attancion you know that red alert is something like pregame of tiberium series (just see the ending with soviets in red alert 1) quit interesting isn't it?

so when other players fight about what games are better they usually don't even know that this is same story, it is just a matter of when did the war started for some is in red alert for some in tiberium series, but if u really want to go in the begiging of fighting (like story is told) than red alert 1 is the first game to play. (if you look more closer the story is so great that the writers for c&C went all the way back in the past since before ww1, the man who started ww1, who shot the heir to the Austro-Hungarian throne, was really one of the terrorists of brotherhood of nod and that were beginings of C&C series. with an exeption of c&C generals (whitch have nothing to do with true c&c series) - generals are just one of the bullshit that ea was trying to do when the took over the great team who made c&c and this team was WESTWOOD

Yes, if you lokk at the interview with the developer he DID call it specifically the "FIRST DECADE" and said they hope to be making the game for years to come!

To answer another question the first Command & Conquer was released back in 1995.

My first expieriance of this game is interesting. I was into renting games and often saw this game on the PlayStation 1, anyway looking at the back i didn't see anything interesting about it and declined to rent it. Anyways in school a mate gave me a demo for the PlayStation 1, which had a picture of a Mammoth Tank, and i saw the game i declined..... Anyway i fired up the demo and gave it a bash, what had i got to lose?? I was INSTANTLY hooked. Not having a PC at the time I decided to buy it for the PlayStation 1. And this little game had me dumb struck. This to me IS and always will be my fav game. Im so glad i played this demo, then bought the game.
I now own every C&C game ever released, i even have multiple copies of some! And i constantly play this game even now, 13 years on!!

my dad tried to install the first decade and when i click launch the box dissappears and nothing happens i can't uninstall it because it is not on the computer system my dad checked the computers programs and it wasn't there any help please i have tried everything
