I haven't played this game in forever, and I forgot... does the game continue after you get judged 3 years into the future? or does the game just end and the credits roll?

It would suck if you made up your fam with 3 years of long game time and realise that you can't play anymore and the mayor decided that the farm would look better as a theme park and bring tourism to the area.
