I agree with Willstab- the level with the pirates is awesome! I also like the level where you must climb the mountain in order to get the herb to cure Kiku. The music creates atmosphere, and the sheer verticle-ness of the level is breathtaking!!! Shame that there is no boss though... prevents it from being my favourite, but it is a close competition!

My out-right favourite is 'Reclaim the castle'. The stage where you have to fight to regain Gohda's castle, from Onikage's army of demon warriors! An awesome level design, with the underground passageway and massive tower to climb, with great music and an awesome boss battle with Onikage!!! Sheer excellence in gaming!!! One of the all time great Tenchu missions!

I pretty much agree there I loved that boss fight with onikage the first time i fought him our fight moved up and down a few floors while we were runnin around jumpin at eachother... it was epic

Indeed a legendary level in the gaming world (For Tenchu fans obviously). While the boss is not too difficult, he is still a tough cookie, and with the health potions can be the result of an epic battle! I love it when you fall off the tower, and if you lose sight of him, he disappears.

Then you can hear him calling "COME ON!" from the top of the tower!

I think that all Onikage boss battles are epic!

Of course Onikage is one of the greatest game villains there is but who better to match one of the greatest game heroes!

Indeed. As i have said i am starting from the beginning of the Tenchu series (storyline wise) and working my way all the way through.

I fought Onikage... i mean Suzaku the red Sparrow

10 levels - tough choice.

The best harmonic level would be Cure The Princess. The task that has been given, music, design. A tear in the eye I'll say.

The best design level is level 5. No doubt. Everything is in order. Just like this area really existed.

Indeed that was a unique and well designed level.
I think I like the manji cult temple level the best though.

Still, i agree with Beavis, Cure the Princess' level design is brilliant and you cannot compare with the music. ( Order).

The final two missions are also really in-depth being two-part and everything in general ETC!
