how's everyones caareer going?
my player is in his second year. during his first year, was called up mid way into the minor leauge season, to which i was owning... had the HR lead and batting avg. doubles and was working on a 41 game hitting streak. then i got the call to the show, for the braves, i idnt mention that. There i didn't play on a regular basis... they maybe put me in during late innings, and my stats took a beating. we won the NL, but lost the series in a sweep Was released from my 1yr contract and the start of the season, i was offered contracts from braves, yankees and 2 other teams. all 1yr minor leage contracts. 30k a yr, tho yankees offered 33k so i stayed with my home team ofcourse. started again in AAA where ofcourse my hiting streak was still intact^^ then called up again, but two months before the all star break. Now in the middle of september, i'm leading the club with 31 HR's and 87 RBI's. i'm currently 2ed in the ranks for NL rookie of the year. Hopefully after the season ends i'll have my first full starting player contract^^ we'll see tho. Braves have got the roster full of good players and they may not offer me what i want, but whoever gives me the contract for a starter i'll take it, hope its them. I play only as my player, so i pretty much am just playing when i'm up to bat, as i can't stand to pitch >.< hows everyone else's career going? ------------------- ![]() "nobody shoots anybody in the face unless you're a hit man or a video gamer." -Jack Thompson

I just started my career. Still in spring training. i made a shortstop though since i as well hate to pitch all the time. i figured while he was in the minors i would just bat for him and see how that goes for the first year.

I started another, outfielder this time. Went thru the spring alright, but ended up in AA, unlike AAA the last time. But I poured all my training points into right handed power for hitting, and spent only a month in AA until i got called up to AAA, then called up to the show in the next month.
I'm halfway thru augest and have my power maxed for the right side, hiting 22 bombs and over 40 RBI's, so not bad for the first year rookie playing professionally.^^ I also tried making a pitcher, went horable my first time I made him. Tried to make a knuckleballer, and it has to be the worst pitch in the game. Then i made one using fastball, slider, sinker and he did really well, getting your locations is a beast... but i found it better to use the classic pitching mode rather then that pitching meater. But once you learn where to set the pitch up at in the zone, your a strike out king. I average 8 per game, always going complete game shutouts and getting the occasional perfect game... god i hate it when they get thier first hit in the 8th >.< ------------------- ![]() "nobody shoots anybody in the face unless you're a hit man or a video gamer." -Jack Thompson
