My post was mostly joking around, so I hope you didn't take any real offence at it. In real life I teach 6 and 7 year old girls, and I suppose I have a real soft spot for little kids (especially girls). Maybe that is effecting my judgement of this, but I just can't bring myself mentally to hurt a little kid.

Haha, little kids are darlings to teach (most of the time). They either love me or are scared shitless of me, thats the only way I get by

It is; it's in the graphic cardboard shell that gives teaser information on the shelves.

HL2 and an extensive GBA collection, respects respects.

Yeah, the regular editions of both versions of the game have a cardboard slip around them. I actually have a lot more GBA games than that, it's just a matter of finding them. The regular jewel cases are Quake I&II with a three disc set of AoE 1&2 and their expansions on the bottom.

you can only get a normal dvd case over here now. you could get it in a steel case but those have all sold out, along with the collectors edition. i love my CE

I'm in Australia and I could only find the steel cases. Actually the steel cases to this game are very nice AND the game comes with a proper manual! That's sadly becoming more and more uncommon today.

i know, alot of games come with just a card with the controls on it, like hl2. i like havin somethin i can read about the game and its features and everything.

I think in the case of HL2, you can download the game documentation from Valve. Age of Empires Collector's edition didn't come with any game manuals either, only installation instructions. Instead they just put the actual manual in PDF form on the discs .

That's precisely what I hate. PDF manuals. You can't ever read them properly causwho likes reading things from a screen and they are like too long to print out. When I pay $100 for a game I expect a proper printed manual. Not some disc with a manual in PDF format.
