I gave up on the sound issue for now because it's just not worth it.

Ok, so "new" problem is the controls. When I first started playing the game and got my Electro-bolt plasmid, I wondered why the wrench swing was delayed so much after I clicked the mouse button. I thought it was just because I was switching from the plasmid to the wrench, but come to find out the controls are just bugged! I found this out when the guy wouldn't stop running for about 2 seconds after I released the W key. He also wouldn't shoot the machine gun until he stopped running and he still shot the gun for like 3 seconds after I released the shoot button like some sort of damn moron. But yeah, is there any fix for this, or do I have to wait for the patch that will never come?

I haven't encountered any of these issues at all on this game, so I am thinking that it is a problem you are having not the game itself. But I will ask around over at 2K and find out what may have caused this.

I figured out what it is. If I run the game in Windows XP Compatible mode, then that's what messes up the controls. Of course, taking it out of Compatibility mode=no sound. Oh well.

The game has crashed on me twice since I got it and gone back to windows.

When I go back into the game again, it has reset all the controls / gfx options and I have to set them all back again. Quite annoying.
