Would u live in Rapture? |
|
without the whole place going mad and everything, would u and 100's of other people go to a city where not alot could know about? a place under the sea? a place protected by big daddies? a place where the neon lights light up the dark Atlantic Ocean?
would you kindly give a normal responce to this topic...

if things were "normal" in the sense of that life was like now but back in 1958 then yes. I think I could live there, obviously it wouldn't be fully normal since I would never expect big tin cans to be the security of a place.
But the place is cared for, Arcadia provides the oxygen to the place, it seems food isn't a rare thing and same with drinks and without the splicing and everyone trying to kill everyone and stealing/killing for survival and to gain Adam life would go on like it used too. ------------------- ![]() ![]()

Yes, but only when it's clean as shadowj stated. Living in the place it is when it's not clean just wouldn't be right.

Yes. Even so, I'd be living highly guarded, my apartment in Apollo Square would have cameras, turrets, and the like.

It could definitely be interesting living there in it's prime. As long as the breakdown of the place didn't happen, it could be a very nice and cultured place to live.

Nope. I'm not a big fan of undersea contraptions, I doubt I'd be able to live "down where it's hotter."

It would be boring as shit though. No open spaces to play sports in or anything fun to do except socialise. Socialising would be damn well annoying after a while.

There would be plenty of places to play sports. Like the tree farm in Arcadia. That would be perfect for a game of football. And didn't you see the poster for the tennis competition near where the telikinesis plasmid is? There's plenty of stuff to do.

i wouldnt want to IRL, because i personally dont like the thought of living underwater. the idea just creeps me out.
i would much rather live in space, TBH. i know thats kinda weird since you can find similarities between living in space and underwater. ------------------- ![]()

i dont think i would. im kinda claustrophobic (although not to the point of not being able to use an elevator or anything) and being in a city buried under millions of gallons of water just wouldnt sit well with me. i guess it would depend on how easy it would be to get out cos from what weve seen of rapture in the game its not that easy. you walk around the city and how many escape pods or bathyspheres that go to the surface do you see? no wonder the cities dead, noone could get out.

It's old fashioned, back in the 60's. Not my type of place to live.
