loved the story, loved the time period in which it was based around, wasn't a fan of the gameplay really (but let's not bitch about that), loved the music. If they manage to pull bioshock 2 off i may cry tears of happiness

Another Bioshock would be awesome and I hope they make it. But you'd think it would be hard considering the fact that it must have taken a LOT of imagination to make the first one. How could they make another awesome one?

I don't know what your talking about. I have seen the TEASER and it was pretty lame. Is there a new trailer. Time to google it.

you people should just be getting excited over the fact that theyre making a new bioshock. who cares if the teaser isnt that exciting. its called a teaser for a reason....

I'm definitely getting Bioshock 2. You play as a Big Daddy, which means that Drill and that Rivet Gun is going to be used in a much smarter manner. And now, ADAM isn't as limited. It's limited only by your imagination, the number of enemies, and of course your ammo and weapon supply. You get to fight a grown Little Sister, the very thing Big Daddies were made to protect. You're a rogue prototype killing your bretheren to take in their charges, and you can use upgraded versions of plasmids. In all, I see plenty of reasons that we should all at least give it a shot.

That said, I will grant that sequels have a tendency to disappoint fans. But, not all sequels crash and burn, and they only do when you don't give it a chance and spread that feeling among others. Over time, what you say sinks in to peoples minds and it makes them consider your words carefully, and in the end it can very well be the downfall of a game. You're saying that you won't play it for some reason causes curious people to think the same, due to the fact that they may see you as what they believe to be an expert. (Okay, stepping out of this line now.)

Give it a chance, you just might like it. You don't have to buy it if you don't like it, but rent it or find a friend that did get it and try it out for a little while. You might find that it was indeed worth getting. Keep an open mind and try new things. (Crosses arms) Who knows, maybe I'm wrong, but either way, like it or hate it, you win. (Shuts off left camera, the equivalent of a wink.)

I've just read each and every article on the viral website for the game. I. AM. SO. EXCITED.

I really cannot wait for this now, i just know its going to take me back, just like Bioshock did.

Theressomethinginthewater.com for anyone who doesn't know already. Wow, eye witness reports, photographs. The big sister seems scary as hell, certainly more freaky than anything witnessed before. She's faster, stronger and more calculating it seems than a Big Daddy, plus, she now rules Rapture.

Edit: Also, i cannot believe the moanings over the teaser, A) its a teaser meant to show limited info. B) The teaser is so amazing anyway, if you are a fan, you should really see that. It give me goosebumbps all the way when i first saw it.

Tbh, i preferred the title just Bishock 2 at first. But then the Sea Of Dreams gives it a chapter like story essence. It fits good i s'pose.

Yeah me too, really buying into this now, i just loved the first game and with the whole marketing scheme behind this one just wets my appetite even more

The site itself is seriously interesting, like you said Nova, there is some interesting stuff packed in there if you look deep enough. And whats with the big sister? She honestly sounds scarier than a Big Daddy.

Can't wait - loved being the big daddy in Bioshock 1. The idea of being able to carry little sisters around with you is pretty sweet too.
