Does this have much horror in it, or is it just a good shooter-type-game?

It attempts horror but fails poorly.

More suspense than horror, there are no real scares in it, just some creepiness to make you wary. Fantastic game though.

yes it's an fps, and 8 weapons once you pick them all up. Now, stop asking questions and go get a cheap used copy, you won't regret it, ever.

Yuppp! I'm going into town tommorow, and I'm getting Bioshock and Gears of War 2.
