Hilariously Huge Crashes |

One thing that makes this game better than Race Driver 3 is the lack of safety barriers, which often leads to hitting cliffs and flying off sand traps. Three excellent examples of this are at the Bathurst track.
1. At the end of the second straight, there is a sharp turn with an incline and a barrier. Slide or drive straight into this to fly into the air. 2. At the top of the mountain, just before the sharp turn heading into the long straight, you'll see a steep cliff in the presence of barriers. Hit this straight on and you'll do a barrel roll or two in the air and land back on the track. 3. This is my all-time favourite. On the very long straight there's a kink designed to stop cars going full speed into the upcoming 90 degree turn. Don't turn into the kink, and keep going straight into the sand trap. You should be hitting it at almost 300km/h in a V8 Supercar. There is a short, steep incline in the sand trap that acts as a huge jump. With practice you can pull off a full barrel roll and land on the other end of the kink, taking a huge shortcut, or you land upside down on the track, often causing a huge pile-up. Click this link to see an example. Have fun crashing! NOTE: This can also be done in a TVR Cerbera Speed 12. UPDATE: New crash! I found this one while filming a YouTube video. At Monza, after coming off the last corner, drive towards the start of pit wall, head on. Just before you hit it, handbrake turn to the left, hitting the wall side-on. Your car will fly through the air, whilst doing 1 or 2 barrel rolls. This works best in a 1969 Charger. This message was edited by Dunnybrusher on Jul 31 2009. -------------------
