What are your thoughts of Gannon with this game?

Well no one knows anything about him yet, has it been confirmed yet whether he is in this game or not?

He better not be in this game. Assuming this is soon after Wind Waker, Ganon was just put away. It would make the whole story of WW useless.

And its Ganon btw.

If it is before Wind Waker. then he might make an appearence. If it is after Wind Waker, then no..

It was Ganondorf who was sealed away. Since we never saw his monsterous pig form, there's nothing to say if Ganon won't appear.

Personally, I'm hoping for Dark Link. That would be a more interesting final battle, especially if Dark Link has all of Link's abilities too.

Ah yes, Dark Link.

How about this for a small idea..

First Phase - Dark Link fights Link like the Dark Link we all know, using the same abilities etc.

Second Phase - Dark Link turns into Dark Ganon, and takes the form of the Ganon that Link fought at the end of Oot.

Final Phase - The Dark figure shows its true form.. Let your imagination run wild.

The whole changing aspect sounds a lot like the final Nightmare at the end of Link's Awakening.

It was good, as you had to adapt your strategy. Nice idea, but I'd rather have the Dark Link fight last. Surely fighting yourself would be a lot tougher than fighting a pig.

I liked fighting Dark Link in OOT, an felt that it could be expanded on to create a far greater battle. He deserved to be more than a sub-boss in that game.

Unfortunately, I can't comment on Dark Link in Zelda II, since I never made it past the third temple.

Meh, Dark Link was nothing in Zelda II, just stand in the left corner and slash away. Dead.

Anyway, your right, they should really expand Dark Link and the way he fights. I would also like to see what he would look like when cel shaded.

It would be a surprise if Ganon was in this game. If he was in this game, he could've been somehow back, which would make the game's concept.

I mean, there can't be no Ganon anymore for the games taking place after Wind waker? That wouldn't be too fun.

It's not impossible to consider Ganon returning. Zelda II was all about Ganon's minions trying to revive him. The Oracle games had the same concept.
